I don't think I've heard any mention of the James Brown range of haircare products in this thread. I noticed that the range is included in the tillspit offers, DD is keen for me to buy some as "all the girls at school" say it's good stuff :D

Has anyone tried it, is it any good? DD has long thick layered hair with a bit of a kink in it, she uses straighteners. Would this be a good range to try for her hair type or is there a better one that anyone knows of?

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

Two fab transactions for me today. Bought OH a camera case as a pressie (£9.99) as he recently bought a camera and needed a case for it. The till pumped out 2 tillspits. SA tried to keep one but I just said I'd like both and she gave them to me!

Second transaction I got 2 x Jemma Kidd nail files, a Pro-Vitamin Shampoo and some cotton buds. Spent £5.44 and got 585 points back. This time only got one spit though.

Used one spit to get a free John Frieda Frizz Eaze, even though SA said it wouldn't work.

Thanks CPG for the tillspit- I got it today.

Thanks for the update SK. This is all a bit confuzzling. I asked the SA today and she knew nothing about a sale, even though a fellow local Bootser had been told there was a sale and it starts tomorrow!!
Not sure whether to set the alarm early and see what is going on or not! I have never been to a summer sale at Boots- does anyone know what types of things are actually included or not?
    TIA
