I think 40 Jemma Kidd emery boards at a cost of £80 would give you 10,000 points, which you could then spend on the jumbo sized Protect & Perfect (20 pairs of emery boards at 500 points each time). Not sure when this offer finishes though- checked the notices today and there was no date .
Your best bet with the P&P is to hold tight for a while. It is usually half price a couple of times a year, so if you're not in urgent need of it, I suggest you keep a watch for when it is next on offer.
    HTH
LOL you would need to buy either 200 emery boards or 50 bottles of model.me!!!
  • Hi Guys -

    A question about Boots.com:-

is it possible to order things via Boots.com - have them delivered to the local store and pay for them in points??

Would be grateful for any help!XX

    No probs at all.
I think of you every time I see those berry bags (they are still £10 here as well, though we defo don't have quite as many of them as in your local branch!!)
Think we'll have to make it a national holiday on the day you finally get one :rotfl:
Thanks for checking Tiara, will try and pop in and get new mag tomorrow ( managed to get one last week but could do with a couple more;) ) and I'll check out the shampoo prices. Must be an incorrect SEL ( why can't the sanctuary bags and berry bag have the incorrect sel:p )

    thanks again

    Hi Sweety,
    Welcome to the thread :j
It sounds like you got an SA on an off day! A lot of SA's are very friendly and can't do enough to help, so please don't let one grumpy one put you off. Saying to a customer "oh here we go again cant you do in one transaction instead of keep coming back" is incredibly rude imo. I would suggest you try paying at another counter next time and fingers crossed you will be served by someone nicer who actually wants your custom!
Don't know what was happening with the multiple till spits today  a few people have mentioned this, but I only got 1 lol  I guess it is up to the SA's discretion whether or not to give you both spits or just the one

Did you use the pc voucher as well as a £2 til spit for the trevor sorbie shampoo? If you used both I would have expected them to come to about £2.49  maybe check your receipt to make sure the £2 till spit was deducted.

But please don't give up hun. Try again another day with another SA- it was bad luck to get such a grumpy one on your first Bootsing outing

Im a newbie to this board - woo hoo - does anyone know of any way of getting the big bottle of Pure and Protect - currently £99!!! for less. I know they had a 3 for 2 offer on No. 7, but I dont want to pay out £198 even it does save me £99. Anyone please??
If it's for yourself i.e. not a gift. Why not buy 6 of the 30ml bottles of protect & perfect using the 3 for 2 offer. You'd end up with 180ml of P&P for a cost of £67.

Don't let this SA put you off..I have come across a few nasty ones but they are outweighed by the nice ones. You'll soon learn who to go to and who to avoid:p

i have never come across a SA who has complained about putting through my goods in separate transactions..you are the customer and you are entitled to do this..what does it matter to her if it the same person doing several shops or several people doing one shop ?
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

A tip to split your transaction without looking like you're doing it deliberately: say you are paying for couple of items with money but the rest with points. When the second lot of stuff is getting put through say "oh actually I think I will use money for these afterall.":D :D

I've also split baskets into things paid with points and things not to maximise 342s and BOGOFs without having to go to till again or ask for separate transactions i.e. recently bought 3x Lomi scrubs on 342 with points but bought the 342 lomi bodywashes with money so that I don't end up paying for 3 bodywashes and one scrub with two cheapest items i.e. other scrubs free.

When I had seven of those No7 £5 till spits earlier in the year I used all of them one after the other at No7 counter. The customer before me and the customer after me were both doing same thing. It was last day before they expired!! :D
