    Thanks for the update pollsdolls,
That song is perfect. I too hadn't heard it before but it was incredibly moving. I also love Bright Eyes, always have since I was a child and it made me cry. :o

I think Jills tragic news has really touched us all. I cant remember the last time I thought about something off a forum like this over and over during the day. I keep thinking 'What on earth would I do if it were me' and that sets me off again.
I was particularly teary when other members of the board who have also lost little ones talked of them playing in heaven. :A There are some wonderful people out there really aren't there.

MY 2 little girls can join them. All this sad news has really brought all the sad feelings i try to bury to the surface again and i dont seem to be able to stop crying. My hearts not in Bootsing at the moment.:(

So very sorry to read of your terrible loss, double tragedy. I can fully understand how reading the messages here has brought your own grief to the surface again.

When you lose a child the grief never goes away, it lays beneath the surface, and is like a wound that never heals. I feel for you as I too know that pain. xx

    ELEMIS OFFER

I have just seen this on the grabbit board and thought I would post it here its a really good offer. Thought it may appeal to the Bootsing community. I have
placed an order. Link here I got this for £12 including postage.

(Original poster had not realised you can also pay by switch/maestro)

    FREE SAMPLE Pro-Collagen Marine Cream 3ml £0.00
FREE SAMPLE Herbal Lavender Repair Mask 3ml £0.00

    GiftWrapXmas_Checkout.jpgspacer.gifSubtotal£8.50 spacer.gifspacer.gifspacer.gif

I received this offer in my Red magazine today. It says it's for Red subscribers but I'm fairly sure it will work for anyone.
Go to the Elemis website - timetospa.co.uk and find a product you like. I found the cheapest product in the haircare section for a tenner.
Choose it and it automatically knocks 15% off the order. Then put RED08 in the promotional box and a free Award Winners Set (worth £40) appears. Then proceed to checkout and four free samples appear too!
Total cost with postage was £12!
Only fly in the ointment (no pun intended) is that you have to use a credit card.
Offer is one per household and ends August 2nd 2008.
    Enjoy!

hi, promise I'll just say this and go back to the shadows where I mainly lurk.

it was the early hours of the morning after our loss and i put the radio on, that song had just started and I didnt catch who sang it or what it was called, but the words, the singing etc i felt were meant for me. I emailed the station (radio 2) and explained why I needed to know what it was called etc and they sent me a lovely email and a copy of the song. The song gave me great comfort in the weeks following (as I hope it will jill and her family).
The point i'm trying to make (I think?) is that it makes me feel so proud that when a 'stranger' reaches out for comfort and support (as i did) people pull ranks and offer their 'hands' when the world can be such a dark sad place.
I'm proud to be part of this thread (albeit mostly a lurker) and when I play 'my' song (which I have done lots over the past few days) I will think of all our losses and all of the wonderful wonderful people here who have reached out to jill and held her hand.

right thats it, i've finished (promise!)
:A I WILL NOT USE MY SWITCH CARD:A
