Daddy please don't look so sad,
    Mummy don't you cry,
Cause i'm in the arms of angels,
    And they sing me lullabies.
Please try not to question god,
    Don't think he is unkind,
Don't think he sent me to you,
And then he changed his mind.
You see I am a special child,
    I'm needed up above,
I'm the special gift you gave him,
    The product of your love.
I'll always be there with you,
Just watch the stars at night,
Find the brightest star thats gleaming,
    That's my halos brilliant light.
You'll see me in the morning frost,
    That mists your window pane,
Thats me in the summer showers,
I'll be dancing in the rain.
And when you feel a gentle breeze,
From a gentle wind that blows,
Thats me, I will be planting,
    A kiss upon your nose.
When you see a child at play,
And your heart feels a little tug,
    That's only me once again,
    Giving your heart a hug.
So Daddy please don't look so sad,
    And Mammy don't you cry,
I'm in the arms of Angels,
    And they sing me lullabies
Oh Rubes, you got me in floods of tears with this, it is so apt.
    God bless you Thomas xx

I think these are all fabulous ideas. I would love to contribute money or boots items, anything at all that would let Jill know that all her online boots friends are thinking about her at this sad sad time.

Would someone then like to nominate themselves to take control once we have decided what to do.

Please don't tell me you know how I feel,
Unless you have lost your child too,
Please don't tell me my broken heart will heal,
Because that is just not true,
Please don't tell me my son is in a better place,
Though it is true, I want him here with me,
Don't tell me someday I'll hear his voice, see his face,
    Beyond today I cannot see,
Don?t tell me it is time to move on,
    Because I cannot,
Don?t tell me to face the fact he is gone,
Because denial is something I can't stop,
Don't tell me to be thankful for the time I had,
    Because I wanted more,
Don't tell me when I am my old self you will be glad,
I'll never be as I was before,
What you can tell me is you will be here for me,
That you will listen when I talk of my child,
You can share with me my precious memories,
You can even cry with me for a while,
And please don't hesitate to say his name,
Because it is something I long to hear everyday,
Friend please realize that I can never be the same,
But if you stand by me, you may like the new person I become someday.
Yours has got me crying too, I'll never get to work at this rate!!
Its quite true of course, no one can know what its really like unless they have suffered the same themselves.
We are all thinking of you Jill

I'm sure there's going to be many suggestions, so just thought I'd chuck another in to the pot.

How about one person collecting and ultimately sending the total in the form of a cheque to Jill, but made out to a Meningitis charity in Thomas' memory from us all?

I'd imagine Jill will be inundated with flowers?

I would be happy to donate.
Perhaps we could send a cheque made out to Jill then she could do what she feels best with it?
