I am also new to this site, and felt I had to post in support of Jill. I cannot comprehend what she and her family are going through at the moment. I am in floods of tears writing this. I agree with the posters who suggested sending her the money - that way she can choose what she would like to do with it for herself eg. donation or memorial. No disrespect to anyone suggesting flowers - but I think that she will probably be inundated with flowers and they don't last that long.

is it ok to put my adress on here for 5 minutes and then delete?

I wouldn't. I suggest that first we decide if we're sending donations to you or doing it online. Then if we do send to you, let's do that via pm. Or you could set up a special email account with yahoo or hotmail for us to contact you, and give that address out on the forum. I wouldn't recommend giving out your real home address or email address in an open forum.

CPG also said she doesn't mind being the collector of monies. She's such a trooper!

    Ok Nettie

PM me your addie and I will send a cheque. Not going through Paypal the greedy gits will take their share and they can swing!!.

Do we know Jill's surname or do we need Polls for this one lol.

    How much are we sending?

    Rubes xx
I dont think there shou a set amount, just whatever people can afford. I also think it'd be best to set something up online.

I think perhaps set up a JustGiving page for a meningitis charity and then inform Jill that we've done that. Then if anyone wants to send a card or anything seperately they can be collated and sent in one package?

    STOP............

    Right,

Nittenoo(sp) has kindly said she will collect monies. I know not everyone has paypal so maybe anyone who wants to send money could pm Nittenoo who can then give her address etc. Then a cheque sent to Jill once its all in with a card and a note in it from everyone.
