Can anyone help me? I'm new to this and want to know if these combiations of vouchers work together please?
Till spit £2.00
Mag trevor sorbie free product
100 points acm
500 points facial suncare no7
100 points time delay for men acm
200 points mag time delay
100 points mag liplicious
400 points acm liplicious
200 points acm over £25.00
I'm thinking I would get 1600 points for a £25.00 spend if I bought the corresponding products?
Thanks Rachel0 -
Hi rachel,
The Trevor Sorbie combo does indeed workHowever currently the dearer product is going through free and you are charged for the long hair shampoo/ conditioner. See Skibster's post below for full details.
As for the other vouchers- don't forget No 7 is on 3 for 2, so if you are getting one suncare annd one liplicious then you are entitled to another product free.
Check your No 7 sincare voucher for a minimum spend though- mine is on a £10, so make sure you don't pick a £9.50 product by mistake as the till will beep!
Can't help with the time delay I'm afraid, although I *think* somebody tried to use this on wipes and the mag voucher beeped?? May be worth waiting a few days for the vouchers to get sorted. (This seems to happen every time the new mags come out- you would think the tills could be programmed to accept them from the date they are valid from, but clearly this would be too straightforward for Boots! )
Good luck!
HTH
EDIT Oooooh I've got 2 stars! How very exciting!!!!:D:D:D
Got a chance to go out today after all, and found a nice little glitch!
When you buy Trevor Sorbie long hair shampoo or conditioner, the coupon from the new mag is supposed to give this to you for free if you buy any other TS product. This coupon now scans without beeping, fyi. But instead it charges you for the shampoo or conditioner and gives you the other TS item free, even if it's more expensive! Actually, the coupon says you get any TS long hair product free with any other TS product, so I guess it doesn't mean it has to be shampoo. But that's what works for me, and you would think you'd get the cheaper item free, and instead it is only charging you for the cheaper item, which is the shampoo or conditioner.
This happened yesterday, but I thought it was the SA's error as she had to enter the coupon manually. But it happened again today when the coupon scanned! I bought a TS long hair shampoo for curly hair (pink bottle) for £4.49 and a TS long hair curl cream for £4.99. I used the mag coupon for a free long hair product, 100 points on ts long hair and £2 off haircare till spit. The till gave me the curl cream for free and charged £2.49 for the shampoo after coupons! This saved me 50p, which honestly I would've rather paid because the glitch made me 11p short of getting a till spit, and I *so* don't need more of the little things around the register to top up the total (just bought two six packs of Kleenix pocket tissues at Tesco, half price at 89p AND BOGOF!).
But at least I was on to something. I tried it again, this time with the TS long hair conditioner and a TS long hair serum which is £6.99. And again I was charged for the conditioner and got the serum free! I should've paid £4.99 for the serum after the £2 till spit, but instead I paid £2.49 for the conditioner. Not bad.
The most expensive TS items I could see to try this with are hair masks at 5.99 and the serum at 6.99.Can anyone help me? I'm new to this and want to know if these combiations of vouchers work together please?

Hi,
I bought the UG conditioning mask today for 9p - thanks to the advice of you veteran Bootsers. Can anyone tell me whether you wash and condition your hair as normal and then use it or whether you use it in place of your regular conditioner?

I have loads of vouchers that I wont be using. If anyone wants to do a swap I could really do with the followingExtra points on photo frames/albums vouchers or400 points on liplicious
150 points on £20 transaction
£5 vouchers
double points
used for this combinationCould I get 1 Dream Lash mascara with GWP (£10.50), 1 liplicious (£9.50), some sort of suncare (£10?) on the 342. Then use the 2 £5 off vouchers, 500 points on £10 No.7 sun protection, 400 points on liplicious, 150 points on £20 transaction and the double points coupon? I'd love to try the Fort but maybe I'm better going there when I have all day to wander because I know what I'm like, I'll be raging if I find it then only have ten minutes to look around! Maybe go a run up there when the kids are back at school (my kids can't understand my Boots addiction
)
I think I'll go to the Gyle then, hopefully get some bargains. I'd love some perfume sets so fingers crossed.
Thanks again

I checked the Fort yesterday and there were very few perfume sets. I did not buy anything.
There was absolutly nothing in either Musselburgh or Haddington.0 -
Hi Peeps just a quick pop in then out. I'm working some extra shifts this week so will do an update in the morning but just wanted to let you all know about Boots Mega day on 12th July where you will be awarded 500Pts on a spend. The sa was not sure if there was a min spend but she said she did not think it would be as high as £50. It will also work with 1000pts in Beauty brand and other points offers so anyone needing stuff in store it may be worth holding on.
Over and out.
P.S. How come i always miss the metro vouchers.
And also was in Boots this morning and got a free Frisbee(sp) advertising sun advice. Oh and 2 acm vouchers for a free jar of baby food. Got them then gave them to a lady outside who could use them."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." — Marilyn Monroepinkladymel wrote: »she hasn't lost the ol' Bootsing magic:D
