Thanks

there is a small boot landside at the airport itself
the gyle is a reasonable sized store has premium skincare counters etc plus acm machine-it will take you about 5mins to get there from the airport assuming it is a quiet time for traffic or up to 30minutes if its rush hour
the wonderful fort kinnaird (home to friendliest no7 girls ever) is about 15minutes away(if no traffic) via the city bypass but the roadworks at sherrifhall roundabout and the sliproad to fort kinnaird could seriously hold you up.
the other option is to get the airport bus(not sure of cost) into town and go to the big store on princes street this should take around 15-20minutes0 -

somethings really confused me.....see if you guys know what happened:D
went to benefit counter, (really nice sa) was buying a few things so asked if i got any points with it been premium beauty....off she went to check and said mmmm not sure lets check, scanned in
benefit playstick (sounds a bit rude:rotfl: ) £25.00
benefit browzing £21.50
benefit dr feelgood £19.50
"ohh yes you get over 2000 points, really wow i didnt even know we had that offer on, wounder why its that much" so we scanned and checked again with a cheeper non skincare product to make up the three and it said the same...i kinda justified the spending in my head....you know points vs pounds lol
gave in my 2 ts products, till spit and mag coupon, the 300pnts wys £30
mmm something went wrong....only got 572 points....what happened
maybe you guys can have a think cos im sure i must have done something wrong...but there is a way to get over 2000 points xxx
Wooaah.... and I was about to buy some benefit cheek tint with points... must find out what is going on here because it might be worth parting with cash instead!!!0 -
Just to let you all know, there are still lots of reduced perfumes in the main Leeds City Centre store.
Also, I tried my luck at the till spit and the new magazine vouchers, but neither assistant let it work for me. The stupid thing beeped and I got trundled off to CS and what not. It was well embarrassing! How come it works for you guys and not me? I don't smell you know! LOL.0 -
Hi Sammr85,
The Oxford city centre branch finally had the H&B mags in today :j they had loads by the main downstairs tills.
Grabbed a mag before work and have just discovered it has the T&G model me voucher in
Perfume sets still left this morning were:
Smiley set (£11.25)
Victoria Beckham (£7.25)
Britney Spears- two different types- curious and the other one lol (£6.25)
Roxy sets- (about £8 I think)
HTH.
Does anyone know if the No 7 new GWP is in the mag? I really want to see what it's like but kind find any pics of it
TIAMorning all

Thanks for info - Mum gets in around half two so not sure about traffic and of course my horrendous lack of direction. I'd love to try the Fort but maybe I'm better going there when I have all day to wander because I know what I'm like, I'll be raging if I find it then only have ten minutes to look around! Maybe go a run up there when the kids are back at school (my kids can't understand my Boots addiction)
I think I'll go to the Gyle then, hopefully get some bargains. I'd love some perfume sets so fingers crossed.
Thanks again
m:j:j:jmummybear3I will declutter, I will declutter............meaning less to clear away and more time to spend with my lovely family0 -
Anyone know if there will be 3 for 2 on dental in Boots any time again soon?
My stocks are v low
Also, I see people talking about clearance sections, I've not seen one in my Boots - anyone know if they exist in any of the Sheffield Boots?0 -
Not sure when the next dental offers will be, the Boots Smile range was on clearance a few weeks ago now as the brand was being re-packaged, it was also on 342 at the time, then eventually BOGOF.
Not all stores have a clearance stand but there are often good reductions eg:75% off, on the SEL's when a store is trying to move slow moving stock. They vary from store to store but currently there are bargains to be had on some facial skincare ranges, namely Simple, Olay, Nivea, Johnson's, Neutrogena and Botanics, there may be others but that's what's on offer in my local stores. It's definitely worth looking closely at the SEL's to spot the clearance offers.0 -
Can someone please give me the link to what all the jargon terms mean on Boots? I am a newbie to it!
Thanks0
