we had already booked our pontins break with the kids for august this year when i saw original post. I was curious so called up to get a quote exactly same as holiday i already have and it turned out i could get the club chalet (wiht all the extras like towels, maid service etc etc for same price i had paid). I rang pontins and explained that i had a code and wanted to apply it to my current booking... the really lovely lady at the end of the phone switched my holiday to the upgraded version!!! Saving me £295.... bargain!! Thanks Bethsmummy!!!!

I am not recommending anyone goes to Pontins as I believe they are dire but I am sure a lot can change in 13 years, these none constructive posts do get on my nerves.

I've got to say guys, all the slating of "Pontins" is not very constructive. I went with an open mind a few weeks ago and was pleasantly suprised. Ok, so its not 5* luxury but its a chalet, which you use as a base for days out. The entertainment in the evening was great for the kids and the cabaret at 10pm for adults was actually really good. The chalet, although small and dated was clean and adequate for our 2 children and us to sleep in, cook and leave our belongings so we could visit the beach, entertainment pool etc. The blue coats, although young, were enthusiastic and welcomed you and your children and made the children feel special in their "crocs club". Its a cheap holiday and you make of it what you will. I am sorry some of you got food poisoning and had a crap time, my family and I had a good cheap holiday and will def go again.
Lets stop all the moaning and groaning and actually look at the positives that happen, life is far to short to !!!!! and moan about every post that is put on here. I am grateful for all the tips, discounts etc that people find the time to post up. :o
