  • Can we report this thread to the police? Or do they already know of it?

When I spoke to them last min May/June, I don't think they really understood how many people may have been affected by this.

    It really annoys me

I may give them another call soon, see if they can tell us anything else.

Has anyone heard back from the police with how they're getting on?

    Hi there,
Firstly, I would recommend logging your complaint with Humberside Police as they are local to his current/last know residence and therefore are most likely to deal with this issue (the more information that you can provide to them the better). Also, log your complaint with Companies Investigation Branch & Consumer Direct/Trading Standards who are currently in the process of gathering all the evidence on NATHAN HUDSON / NATHAN SCOTT and his illegitimate businesses.
FYI, I got my Refund via Chargeback 'For Goods not Recevied' with my Bank (Barclays), you will probably be able to do this also as it doesn't strictly have to be a Credit Card that you had registered with Paypal when you made your payment. Your bank will then take care of the investigation
    Regards

    Hiya,

I logged my complaint with the local police station back in April, who then forwarded it onto the Humberside police.

Thanks. I also recieved a chargeback for my money from Lloyds which I was relieved about. My paypal account was only backed up with a debit account, which I thought would be a problem, but it wasn't.

have you booked a holidday with them?
and did you pay for tickets?
if you have a departure date of any kind? you can wait until then and contact police as you have been part of fraud.
also email ebay who can give you the persons contact details and address if they believe it is a scam

Yes, I booked a holiday with them for March, so the departure date has well and truely gone..

    Yes, Paid by PayPal.

Ebay didn't want to know, so didn't paypal. It was passed the 45 days they give you (Mainly cos Xcite string you along so much), and Ebay wont give out contact details.. They also ignored my email on this

I have the persons last known address, telephone numbers etc, which I have given to the police.

If anyone hears through the grapevine that he has been caught, please post it here.... I see that all of the websites are now closed down, but I'm sure he probably did that after knowing that the authorities are now actively seeking him out....(www.rainbowhorizons.net, www.prestigerail.com & www.xcite-travel.com)...................
  • this man has been around the houses! i sincerely hope that this gets resolved, everyone scammed gets their money back and he is caught and put away for a long time..
  • Hi
I was relieved until I got debt collectors on my case yesterday sent by paypal !!! I told them the story and they have referred the issue back to paypal .. I hope this will be the end of this once and for all but I'm worried paypal will continue ... I'm with the Abbey who had recovered the funds but for the life of me cannot get through to the right person to sort this mess out !!! Aaaarghhh .... surely if paypal look into this then they will see I'm not the only one and will leave me alone !!!! ????

I too have been done by this retched excuse of a human being, for £350.
I also paid the majority by debit card through paypal on the 9th March, but LloydsTSB are saying it's a debit card dispute, and I can claim the money back only after the 'holiday' expires which isn't until 31st October. Has anyone else heard of this??
  • Looks like I have also been had for £300 for 2 vouchers. Contacted Humberside Police yesterday and they are arranging to send an officer to take a statement as they already have a file on this individual. Have spoken with my credit card company but they were not very helpful - said that they could not look at the matter until after the end of October 08 when the offer expires. Has anyone got a copy of the original offer on ebay that states the date by which the break has to be taken by. The voucher I have does not show an expiry date.
