OK, to update on my mini challenge I haven't spent anything since the food shop, and 2 of my direct debits have cleared....
We got a letter this morning from MBNA who OH had a credit card with, which we cleared. They are offering 0% till July 09 on any balance transfer.
He has also applied for a zero credit card to transfer his Halifax credit card balance from which is on 18.9% or something...
Now his MBNA card has a £2000 limit would it make sense to transfer my I.F balance £1700+ onto that card? The APR is 14.9% I think.
Or would anyone suggest anything different?:smileyhea NewYorkCityBride&Groom :smileyheaPositive things happen to positive peopleTotal Debt £25,317.59 (Apr '08)Total Current Debt £22,832.77 (July 6th '08)0
