You're doing really well. Just this weekend and one more before payday, and you've already got this one planned and sorted. Well done!
Do you think weekends are the most difficult? All that time with the family at home so temptation to give in to temptation and pressure from family members for a treat?
Seems as if you've got a fair bit of safety margain still at £77 ish left if all your bills are paid and you've got all your meals in.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -
Thanks everyone, I think I will need to do a bit of shopping before the end of the month but only fresh stuff so shouldn't be too expensive.
Weekends are definitely the worst time! Next Saturday I am having my hair done which takes around 3 hours (cut and colour), OH is paying for it for my birthday pressie
and DD is going on hols with her Dad on Friday for 2 weeks so I will have a cheap weekend then too hopefully!! 0 -

I know this is by no means a desperate situation to be in but I just feel really fed up, I have managed to pay off £150 extra this month on my cahoot loan on top of my other debts and if I can do the same next month I will have cleared that debt - then I need to move onto my credit cards.
I don't know why I am posting this really, maybe for someone to say I will manage and it is not that bad or maybe for any advice on how not to spend any more than I have - I have an overdraft of £300 of my disposal but trying desperately not to use it anymore
Sorry for waffling and thanks to anyone who reads!

I see you have a Cahoot loan..... have you recived an e-mail saying repayment going up to 5% per month and interest rate going up 2%In London, you're never more than 20 feet away from someone telling you you're never more than 20 feet from a rat .0 -
Well 3 hours at the hairdresser sounds looovely. And you'll be so near the end of the challenge by then and payday in sight. And then you'll be at the point where your loan will paid off. I know that when you work it out on paper it is depressing but you will be fine. I felt like you a couple of weeks back and posted a thread and had so much genuine support. There is probably loads of food in the cupboards and fridge, make a meal planner. If you have any tesco clubcard vouchers, treat yourself to a meal or if you have an orange phone, go to the cinema on 2 4 1 on Wednesdays. If the weather is nice, go for long walks of visit the supermarket at that time of day when the sell quality perishables for a fraction of their normal price. I do this roughly once a week and can provide many days of goodies for very little money and different food from what you would normally eat.0
