As far as i know you can use a Virgin sim in a T-mobile locked phone but not a T-mobile sim in a Virgin phone so if the seller made a mistake in his listing you could always ask for a refund or the cost of unlocking it.

Yep, that's the code I've tried.

Taking into a phone shop today as no time to post it anywhere!

I noticed some unlock codes for Virgin, I have spent ages :mad: looking for an unlock code for a Motorola v550 locked to virgin, I would be very, very, very, grateful if anyone can help. :T

there is no code for v550
the codes youve seen are for certain phones models and not networks
the v550 needs to done by direct unlock although if youve spent more than £30 then virgin should give you the code for free

Do you know of a site that I can get an unlock code from, every one I have vistited so far does not deal with motorola.

(the motorola code servers arntavailable anymore afaik)
you maybe better asking virgin for the code as i dint know how much they charge?
would only be about £5-£10 for cable unlock at market though
