OMG – I cannot believe we are only 6 months away from Christmas. Time is going sooo quickly. I’m not complaining as I want this year to go super quickly, as I’m hopefully going to be debt free by October/November.
I’m already starting to buy bits as I see them. I got my lil 1yr old niece a kids vtech winni the pooh laptop from Boots in the sale last month for £7.99 (RRP £29.99), so she can have that this year as one of her gifts, and also doing my daily piggy clicks so in December I will be getting a few vouchers from them hopefully. The only person I leave till the last minute is my OH as he never knows what he wants.

I've only got to buy three presents so I'll get them nearer the time. Then the food I'll get a bit each week from october. Just need to think up an excuse not to go to family...Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Not funny is it. SIX paydays left for us...
EEEKKK!!! er, who started this thread?! Damn you rotten organised folk...
Not doing too bad, got about £50 vouchers for pressies, £40 for food- inc my ssaver stamps for Mr T's.
We have the whole family round Chrstmas day, (mad aren't we), but meanings as they all know we're not rich, they all give us like £20 per couple, and we use it towards the food for Christmas dinner. Pretty much covered it last year and we had 5 courses.
xx
arr... i love christmas....

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
Have decided to again this year do homemade presents - need to get cracking on scarves soon I think! But I'm also going to plant up some pots with bulbs and hopefully they'll flower OK for Xmas! Just need to be on the look out for pots now - summer sales perhaps? and then get the bulbs nearer to September/October time and I'll be set!
Saving up loads on tesco deals and nectar and pigsback too, so I am hoping for a 'neutral' Xmas spend this year!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Well I can honestly say I didn’t think it was 6 months away, but I knew it was close
“its nearly Christmas” is a good saying of mine….. it drives the people in the office mad.
And being as its only 6 months to Christmas, means were halfway there, which means I can legitimately now do my “all I want for Christmas is you” routine in the show, I only do it for a week, it foxes everyone as to why, but it still goes down a storm, and the costume is all nice and festive dressed like a Mrs Clause……. Oh the life of an entertainer….
Anyway back to the point
We have a busy Christmas/NY period this year, were working flat out all the way upto the 20th December when its my sisters wedding , we then fly out to go work in Gran Canaria for 2 weeks on the 22nd so we miss all the Christmas and NY family thing, se were planning to do iit early.
Our boots card is upto about £80 and we’ve already bought loads of presents (doesn’t it just make you sick) if there is a sale on we scout round and get something there. We mad a list months ago and cross off as and when we get somebody something – large families are nice until it comes time to buy presents.
Hoping to have it all done by September at the latest, as it’s a fast track to Christmas then with the show, and no free time whatsoever.
Anyway
Keep it up Guys and Girls0 -
Bah humbug!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.

Yick. I'll probably do the same as last year and use vouchers built up over the previous few months. We have longer off work than usual this year (nearly three weeks I think) so very tempted to b*gger off somewhere.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
