Bloody flippin hell sar, tell them if they don't feel ready to get rehearsing then instead of moaning. What's the point in having a band if you don't plan to gig? Everyone feels nervous and like they aren't ready but you just get on with it. Tell them if they don't want to do it, no problem, you can always get a dep in :)

Can you tell, I've had a gut full of bloody musos today too:rotfl:

Well I know that the gigs not going to happen as guitarist 1 has flat out refused to even consider it. I just hope they forgive me! Was only trying to help :(

Well basically it was 2nd in a 4 band bill. 1/2 hr slot at a 200 capacity venue for a hard rock night. Their argument? We don't want to make a fool of ourselves and get laughed off stage.....

   Bad start to the day for me.. DD was having a long lie so I decided to get out the cheque book and write some cheques for bills due at end of month. Logged into online banking to check i had my sums right and balance availible on our joint account is NIL, Balance availible on my own account is NIL too   By my rough count whereas we are into the OD on both accounts we are not any where near the maximum because we had been really good at not spending it. I am gutted.

DD is now awake and keeps pressing the hung up button on the phone when i try to call them so it will need to wait until her nap  I seriously hope its just online banking being broke, other wise we are screwed.

IA - how ;long have the band been together?? a 30 minute 2nd slot doesn't sound that much of a hardship but then again I only play a little to destress and not anything close to gig standard but its what?? 8 songs??

    Good morning:hello:

Weather isn't brilliant here but at least it's not windy or raining; just overcast.

Sarah - tell them to bl00dy grow up. If they 'have' to be ready they'll be ready and it'll give them something to aim for! I hope you manage to smooth their ruffled feathers.
Bunny - enjoy your lazy day and hope DD feels
Doodledo - good luck with the to do list.

I can see myself becomming addicted to internet banking... already checked balances on all my accounts this morning (and checked that my mastercard payment has been taken out).

Hope everyone has a great day. Cat.x
