Help with Bearded Dragons- Urgent!!!

If you do have a male and female you will need to separate them pronto otherwise the male will continually harass the female to mate with her, which will totally stress her out and make her ill.
Also, if she gets pregnant she can lay 3-4 batches of eggs a year, each producing up to 30 babies. Have you got sufficient housing and light/heat equipment to raise all these babies?
They're not that easy to sell unless you're a specialist breeder with the latest breeds/colours etc as too many amateurs are breeding them and have flooded the market. You could easily find yourself caring for over 100 beardies inside a year!!!
I agree with Jellicat to get them checked by a vet if you're worried. Did you buy them from a reptile shop? Will they not give you any advice?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Did you get them from a pet shop or breeder? At four months old beardies are very hard to sex so i would not guarantee they are male and female. Gizmo might be the less dominant of the two, you could try separating them when feeding if you think he/she might be dehydrated try spraying with a fine mist sprayer. If they turn out to be two males then they will fight til the death when they become adults. If you are really worried take him/her to a vet asap.0

www.reptileforums.co.uk is an excellent resource for all manner of lizards, inverts and amphibians, the people on there really know their stuff.0

As a general recommendation, I would say to make sure you have an infrared thermometer as these are much more accurate at measuring the temperature in the viv (the sticky dial ones can be as much as 10 degrees out apparently!).
They are really simple to use just put them about an inch away from the area, push the button and you have a reading!
Prices are usually about £20 but worth every penny in my opinion. For beardies the max temperature under the basking spot is 110F and in the cool end min 75F.0
