How do you get correct MAC codes?

    The info talks about MAC codes then even says what a MAC is, then goes on to talk about MAC codes!

    VIN Number
    ATM Machine
    RAS Server

    but anyway it's always the silly things that wind one up!

    Geting worked up about whether MAC or MAC code is NOT the problem mere semantics.Question was about the CORRECT MAC,I have already been given two, but both useless,so it there an ENIGMA(Orange,BT ot SKY) with this codes?

    You get the MAC from your CURRENT ISP, no one else.

    5 days have passed, they have broken UK law.
    It seems this is a common problem with Orange.

    Ignore them now and just deal through OFCOM

    Sure it could be the new ISP saying it's invalid, when in fact it is. This isn't your problem to sort out.

    It could be Sky's problem.They said the computer would not accept the MAC i got from Madasafish.Phoned again with it the next day and it was accepted??!....Neil

    More likely to be a keying error if that happened, can happen sometimes if the agent mishears what you say to them.

    Thanks to all that have replied.
    Via the suggested Orange problems site , I have now made contact with someone who can HOPEFULY solve my problem.
    Note it has nothing to do with code interpretation as these were confirmed by e.mail
