Just a little warning.
I went to Pizza Express last night and has two pizzas. Before I went I printed off a vochure (after alot of trouble  ) and we went for the meal. At the end of the meal when the bill came up, I showed the waiter the vochure. He told me it was a fake as it didn't have a bar code at the bottom. He said they knew to have that deal but it was no longer on.
If you do have a vochure with a bar code then it will work, if not try it but beware!!0 -
As a general rule, whenever I have a voucher I always make sure I let the person taking the order know before I place my order that I intend to use a voucher.
At least that way if they say its no longer in use, you can then decide whether to stay or leave at that point and I would think that in this climate most restaurants wouldnt want people to up and go once they're seated.0 -
Thanks for this. Do you know if you can use more than one voucher per table? ie. 4 people, 2 vouchers?
Yes, it says on the voucher itself "Please let the customer know they can use as many vouchers per party as they wish"

Hi all, just to let you know I went with a friend and our 4 children this evening to the Pizza Express in Milton Keynes Shopping Centre and produced the voucher before ordering and the manager was adamant that we could only use one voucher per party. I said to her it says to allow the customer to use as many as they wish per party but she was having none of it  . We stayed but at the end I got her name from our waiter, he enquired why, and when I said that I was going to contact Customer Services he said they have had lots of problems this evening as she would only allow one voucher per party to be used.
I will be complaining to their Customer Services tomorrow that if it is one voucher per party then they should make their voucher say this very clearly.
Just wanted to warn others that this may happen - if doesn't then well done and hope you had a good feast!!0 -
Has anyone used the voucher in Chester? We were thinking of going there tomorrow night.
But if we have to argue the toss with them about the number of vouchers needed, I really couldn't be bothered...it kinda spoils an evening out!0 -
