Can someone take down the tempting looking pizza picture from the "Top deals this week" box that appears on every page?
I agree that a 50% voucher is a good way to get pizza, but a better way to save money is not to eat out at all. This picture is just encouraging me to spend money...

    Hi

The downloadable vouchers on the web are valid Sunday to Thr only, eat in.
EDIT. Seems they dont hand out the Mon Friday BOGOF anymore . See post #194

However they also hand out a voucher BOGOF valid Monday to FRIDAY and is valid for eat in or take out. They give them as you pay even if you are already using a voucher that time. They will be valid for your next visit if you are visiting on a Friday.(to 30th Sep)

  • The Gourmet Burger Kitchen BOGOF vouchers are a bit of a con. 4 of us eat there the other night in the Manchester branch and although we got the BOGOF for 2 of the meals, it does not include extras like fries and salads and any other extras. The food is very over priced and not good value. The bill for 4 of us INCLUDING soft drinks and fries still came to £30 with the BOGOF (would have been £45). The size of the burgers were small and not good value. One of us had a so called vegetarian burger which consisted of greasy strips of fried vegetables in a bun - very misleading. The menu is way overpriced. Also we were not handed the voucher BOGOF like alan99 quoted, and even if we did, we would not use as we do not recommend going there.

I happily printed off my voucher on Friday and decided to treat the kids on Sat - got to the restaurant (Ayr) and sat down only to be told that due to the previous weekend they were only running it mon-thurs now..asked to see the manager as it states that it runs seven days only for her to point out that Pizza Hut can amend or withdraw the offer at any time and that it was they had done and there was a (small) notice on the door to let you know - this was all done in quite a sharp tone with no apology -just a come back on Thursday then, we've got other offers - we left as we didn't want to pay full price there and headed off to Frankie and Bennys where we ended up spending a bit more, but the service had a smile!

I would therefore check with local Pizza Huts if they are still taking them all week.

I am going to email Pizza Hut as I am pretty annoyed as we had gone out of our way to go there and then had to disappoint the kids - don't think i'll be back in a hurry..
  • I dont feel as annoyed that none of our local stores are included now, as it sounds like a major hassle to use anyway! And ive already had enough arguments with Pizza Hut staff in the past lol, so dont really want to create more

  • Most of the deals are for burgers, crisps, pizza and alcohol. Are their no healthy deals out there? 2 for 1 on a smoothie anyone?
  • PanAm in Liverpool's Albert Dock are also offering great deals; 2 courses from their evening menu for two people from Sunday to Thursday and you only pay £15, it's launched as a loyalty for local friends of PanAm, but its a great deal.

I wouldn't mention any of these, but I redeem these offers from Liverpool Confidential all the time and these are all kosher and great. You sign up for the email and it's full of them. Give it a go

I had the same experience as maursie in the Ayr branch of Pizza Hut last Saturday evening. Despite there only being half a dozen customers at most when we arrived, I was given the same story about problems the previous weekend and despite what the voucher said about the offer being available 7 days a week, we had to pay full price. I could understand their position had the restaurant been busy, but it was almost empty! I think that I will be avoiding Pizza Hut in future as there are plenty of alternatives in the area.
