Many packets say 100% british..... but i had a cow born and bred in england, and then was killed using the halal menthod... would it still be 100% britsh? yes... so what do we really know about any of it?
There are many contradicting arguments for and against halal meat, both on a non religious view.
For me, meat has been eaten since year dot. In year dot no doubt the animals were killed in very inhumane ways. When the animal is dead, it is dead. No more pain is felt.
If people cared as much about the real problems in life instead of how an animal, which has been bred to be killed, has died then I think the world will be better place
Yeah meat bred in england is generally labaled brittish and the meat born and bred in Scotland is generaly labeled Scottish. There are other factors though like if they package things into the boxes in a UK factory it can be branded as UK produce but could come from anywhere.0 -
Hi
Harvester is offering a free sundae best (ice-cream) when a main meal is purchased.
Voucher must be downloaded and presented.
Offer on until 4th December 2010
You can also get free Pepsi refill's when you purchase the first drink.
After three bad experiences in different Harvesters across the UK I wouldn't eat in a Harvester again if the whole meal were free!0 -
You are obviously unlucky. I have had many a good meal at Harvester restaurants. In fact, I don't think I have ever had any reason to complain.Thank you for reading this message.0

Harvester on the sea front in Brighton was brilliant - the food was good, the service efficient and we made the most of the help yourself salad bar - I think my OH went up 3 times at least. We've been twice and both times were good. However I've not been to any of the othersNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

Hi,
Dominos Pizza are currently selling Pizzas on the website Any Pizza Any Size for £8.99. It's not on their websites front page though and it's not been advertised widely but if you go into their order section and click on Deals, it's the second offer down the list. Happy eating.0 -
Normally when I ring, they do tell me if there are any special offers, but thanks for the alert anyway.Thank you for reading this message.0

The BellaPasta offers seem to have fallen off the listing. Go to URL thatsbella.co.uk for their "Two mains for £10" voucher. Hint... Try their pasta rather than the pizzas? The duck one is GREAT as is their Pinot Grigio wine!
