  • I think your entry for the Ember Inns Menu '2 for £8' is out of date. Many of those menu items listed - ie fish and chips are now on the '2 for £10' menu!

Chef & Brewer Pubs - Lunch & Evening Deals

    Lunch Deal
£4.99 for a main course - choose from Fish & Chips (with tartar sauce, lemon and garden peas/mushy peas), Hand-Peeled Breaded Scampi or Vegetable, Mozzarella and Pesto Burger (vegetarian & comes with sweet potato chips & a pickle dip - really tasty :j)
    OR
£5.99 for a main course - choose from Lasagne, Steak Burger or Aromatic Chicken Skewers (with chips)
    OR
£6.49 for a main course - choose from Grilled Gammon & Egg, Steak & Ale Pie or Chicken & Mushroom Linguine.

You can also add a starter and/or dessert for £2 each. (I can't remember what the starters were - but I think one was bruschetta - and it doesn't say on the website but the desserts were as follows: Chocolate Fudge Cake with Clotted Cream, Ice Cream, Bramley Apple Pie or Crumble of the Day.)

The lunch offer is valid Monday-Saturday before 5pm.

    Evening Deal
£9.99 for a main course and starter/dessert OR £11.99 for a starter, main and dessert - Soup of the Day, Summer Bruschetta (vegetarian), Stilton & Peppercorn Mushrooms (vegetarian) or Chicken & Honey Pâte for your starter; one of the following for your main course: Lasagne, Steak Burger, Grilled Gammon & Egg, Vegetable, Mozzarella & Pesto Burger (vegetarian), 7oz Rump Steak, Chicago Chicken, Steak & Ale Pie, Hand-Peeled Breaded Scampi or Chicken & Mushroom Linguine; and one of the following for dessert: Ice Cream, Bramley Apple Pie, Chocolate Fudge Cake or the Crumble of the Day.

The evening offer is valid Monday-Thursday after 5pm.

There also doesn't seem to be any specific end date to either of these offers.

    No voucher required, either. :D

Sorry for the long post, I'll stop waffling on now... :o

It won't let me put the accent on the 'e' in 'pâte' :o

Edit: Oops forgot the link to the Chef & Brewer site: http://www.chefandbrewer.com/chefandbrewer/pages/Food-and-Drink/whats-on/c

On most days there are some really good restaurant deals through Groupon or KGB Deals. You can get the same deals through http://www.ukcitydeals.com but all the commission made by UK City Deals go to the Red Cross Japan Appeal until January 2012.
