i wouldn't mind doing the course, i think they may be i could benefit from it,
But they are saying do it and i'm admitting guilt or don't do it and see the magistrate.
There's a seperate company that does it so i might give them a ring see wot they say if anyone can do it.0 -
the lights on the other side had no feeders and if you look and there are cars stopped and the car that hit me wasnt in sight,
arnt i suposed to look in the direction i am going and not out the passenger window
as for witnesses if i wasnt in the back of the ambulance then i would have asked for their details myself
if the police are threatening to prosecute do i not get a more detailed explaination
and dont they have to disclose evidence to me or my solicitor
having no experience of this sort of situation i thought ai may get some help in here although some have helped others seem to be in here for a laugh
I agree with lots of others, from your OP it is impossible to understand the exact situation. With filter arrows on lights, it could be the other car came through on a green filter. A diagram of the junction would help.
BUT you definitely do need to be looking out of your passanger window and all the other windows and the mirror!0 -

I got wound up by the comments too. Yes difficult to read/understand, but there are ways of suggesting that to the op other than being darn right obnoxious. There are examples of both in this post.
Yes it could be laziness or it could be a lack of language ability so whats the alternative, the OP doesn't post in the 1st place? Give the benefit of the doubt.
PS I think the OP has remained nicely restrained here:T, regardless of the circumstances of the incident.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

If the OP is going to be communicating with insurers, solicitors, the police and the courts, his cause will not be helped by text speak and street patois.

Did the lights facing you have a right turn arrow, or just a regular green signal. If the former, then I think you've got a reasonable case, although in principle I'd say you should take adequate observations bvefore completing any manouvre. If it was just a green signal, then you didn't have priority, and I'd take the course.
It is a common misunderstanding to think that a green arrow gives you priority when turning right. It does not. To quote from the Highway Code -
A GREEN ARROW may be provided in addition to the full green signal if movement in a certain direction is allowed before or after the full green phase. If the way is clear you may go but only in the direction shown by the arrow. You may do this whatever other lights may be showing.
So if you are turning right on a green arrow, you still need to give way to traffic coming across the junction in the opposite direction.0
