Thanks for that but I guess I just don't get why my current phone doesn't need a memory card to do all these things and this one does. Is the memory card optional with this phone i.e. does it you just allow you to store more photos, music etc by using it or is it essential to use these functions at all? I've had a look at a few websites but can't find any details about it, sorry to ask again. Thanks, NCW.NCW0

It depends what you mean by 'essential'.
If you consider an mp3 player an essential part of the phone, then it's not much of an mp3 player if all you can store are say 20 tracks at 32kps..
Instead of 100 tracks at 128kbps. 0 -
Any other good phone deals out there today? As I seem to have missed the boat on both of these.
