CPW + 3 7600 Redemption Plan offer due to expire -HeLP PLS

Hi All,
I signed up for the CPW offer around this time last year (following another great recommendation from the moneysaving expert site). The deals was a 7600 on 600 text and talk contract for 12 months with the redemption scheme which basilcy equates to £5 per month all in.

So, as this offer is due to expire shortly - are CPW likely to offer me the same deal with or without a phone uprgrade? i can't see any mention of this offer on the CPW website having had a quick look.

If this offer has expired - are there any other similalry good deals about at the moment and finally if i switch contracts would it be possible for me to keep my exisiting phone number???

any help/suggestions/advice will be GREATLY appreciated

many thanks in advnce

I have only just signed up to a CPW deal on 3. 500 xnetwork mins, 100 texts and a free nokia 6630 for what equates to £3.99 per month as a cash back deal. You could just get a one of those, and carry your number forward onto it. ( I guess you need a pac code, but not 100% if you are staying on the same network)

  • Tony, that's true - you can't port a number to the same network.

I've always got around this by porting my 3 contract to a PAYG o2 sim, then back again. It also gives you the freedom to wait/find the best new contract out there.

Hi Tony, how did you do this deal on cpw ??? - £3.99 per month ??? please show me -

I work it out as £7.95 per month . Am I missing a trick here ... please confrim ..

8 months free for a 12 month contract (after cashback)
    That works out to 4 * £30 = £120
    minus £25 from qiodco so £120 - £25 = £95 for the whole year

    which is
so, over 12 months that is 95/12 = £7.92 per month

With 500 inclusive minutes that equates to a 1.58pence per minute.

Jaspal: The actual link in not linked through the CPW main site (for some reason) so try this instead: http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-pd-ProductDisplay?PN=PORTALS.SEPT05CLE6630&origin=SPECIALOFFER&tduid=d1ce86d54f2221b73eaa42ecf306b3d6 It'scurrently in stock.

Be careful if you are ordering online however. I tried to and for some reason, there is no option to choose the 12 months contract. It just automatically adds the 18 months contract to your basket. It's best to ring sales and order over the phone. Mine arrived 2 days ago and just waiting to get connected.

Huggins: You will need to ring you network provider CS and ask them you are changing networks and want your pac code. They should give it to you. As Adam suggested, simply get a O2 PAYG and then ring the O2 CS and tell them you want to post your number across. Each time you move, you will need a pac code. I am doing this from O2 PAYG to 3.

You may also want to see my above link to a cheap contract phone on 3.

Yep, its a refurb, but as new when I got mine. Be careful to check the MMC card just in case someone has used it before. Mine had some p**n on it and luckily, no kids are going to use it. But for the price, you can complain :)

hi tony, do you know how long this offer is going to stay open/valid for? it seem's to be the best deal around, dont you think? however my current 3 deal expire end of this month, so i dont really need it until then. do you think i should wait? or order without hanging around?! also do you know if you have to send in your mobile bills at month 4 and 8 in order to recieve the cheque? or is it automatic?

    thanx for your help

    Hi everyone,

If you buy this 6630 from CPW then could I suggest buying it through a cashback website such as https://www.quidco.com as they will give you a whopping £25 for buying the phone via them.

This would mean that the contract only comes to £1.90 per month:

    12 * £3.99 = £47.88

    £47.88 - £25 = £22.88

    £22.88 / 12 = £1.90

    Hope this helps. :D

    @ jassi_9

I would buy this phone ASAP as these offers don't often last very long, like less than a week sometimes.

And you have to send the 4 and 8th bill in etc to claim the cashback, its not automatic.
