aww hon have a hug, grumpy is no fun. hows things, hows the job apps etc etc etc, have missed quite a bit lately. Yes been trying to work hard, things conspire against me at times. Seen a couple of jobs to apply for, one would involve a slight relocation but a long commute until i can.

It's not the one in the Middle East is it - that's quite a long commute... :rotfl:

Have applied for three jobs with local council, all look good - got interview for one on Friday. Must admit to being a bit torn as have had some good days with workmates lately, but no chance of current job getting any better. Could do with more support in it all from certain quarters (think male & grumpy...) but ho hum.. am still attempting to be understanding and being expected to be psychic there...

Other than that really getting into the cooking thing and, er, that's about it!

That's good to hear, if you don't try, you never know.. and if it's meant to be.... ;)

To answer your question - I don't know, exactly, this is where I'm supposed to be psychic!

Another day over.. came home to a letter about another interview - this one takes hours, sounds a bit scary!

Bought some flour and bits and pieces on the way home so a couple of pounds added to the grocery total.. made mini muffins which didn't rise as well as they should, but taste ok, one lot are savoury - feta and raisin, and the others are pineapple and ginger, with some elderflower syrup added, these particularly didn't rise but they are lovely and sticky and tangy :)

Nothing much else to report.. I think I badly need my holidays.. 16 days to go!

Thanks Bob - getting a bit fed up with the whole application/ interview thing - will get there eventually I suppose!

Am getting into increasingly horrible mood tonight, people are getting on my nerves (again, none of you lot, other people I have contact with via other online means)... think it might be slightly PMT-related as well :o

    :rotfl: Brilliant!

Up a bit early this morning, so having a lazy breakfast (could go into work early on flexi-time but what would I want to do that for?)Tried to enter a race online last night (inspired by IA's running efforts) and it wouldn't let me pay as it kept insisting a Maestro card had to have an issue number and it doesn't!!! Sent stroppy email (and one to the person I bought something off on eBay a fortnight ago) and went to bed in a bad mood... woke up still grumpy! I think I might turn my phone off at work and hide under the desk today...
