tia you have my every sympathy, big big ((hug)) My boys have the same Sonic game for the PS3 and it's equally as difficult!
hex try google, seriously, all I ever do is type in 'how to clean ****' and someones usually got an idea on a forum, blog or website. As for the changing of rooms, that's a tricky one, for me an additional room as a study here would be perfect and an extra bathroom, but you already have 2 bathrooms, erm, I don't know :rotfl: What about a walk in wardrobe :D
pigpen stop refreshing! Go find some more stuff to ebay or something. If you're accessing the page it might stop others accessing it (ok with a website like ebay it shouldn't happen but it might!)
juliejim maybe because you are avoiding doing the other stuff ?

Wii games faves here so far are Wii sports (I think they'd have probably been happy if it only had that) they do however LOVE Super Mario Galaxy, Ds2 was playing on some pinball classics one DP picked up second hand a while ago which he likes (he's now disappeared into the garden leaving it on so will be grabbed in a mo) They do have others but don't use them much.

Just remembered I haven't fed myself when my tummy started rumbling as I was preparing veg, so bacon sandwich made and being eaten now, I won't be eating until late when DP gets back so need something or I'll flop. Most things are prepared inc batter etc so can cook boys stuff then ours later. I've found some roasties I'd frozen and some par boiled ones, some par boiled carrots and green beans so going to muddle that lot together to save me going to the shops today. Amazing what you can find when you don't want to go shopping!

Ds1s been screaming with sore throat again several times, did the same yesterday so pressuming he has a bug of some sort as mines been sore too, I don't think choking himself would cause pain for over 2 days, so he'll be off tomorrow if no better as I can't have him screaming all day at school, they'll just send him home anyway.

Weather has picked up again here, I am pleased I braved hanging more laundry out ignoring the giant black clouds! I was considering doing the back garden but I think it'll wait, I don't want to snooker myself completely today. Right while DS2s playing in the garden and DS1s laid watching flubber feeling very sorry for himself I'll do some studying.
One day I might be more organised...........

Ideas please- what do I use to clean the wood burning stove? I have just dusted it down for the minute. Black cast iron type.

We use a tube of stuff on our fire places called "Grate black". Its a paste that you rub in (bit like shoe polish) and is then buffed up with a soft cloth. Trouble is I have no idea where to get it as it was left by previous owners - 8 years ago so you can tell how often I dont do it :rotfl: .

Am now up to wash load 6, done about 1 1/2 hours ironing in DD's room trying to get her to sort out what clothes fit and what dont. Seems she's having a growth spurt again as all her trousers/jeans etc that she had at xmas are too short.
Roast beef and potatoes are in the oven. Have been down the lotment and watered OH's plants and cut cabbage .
Cake I made this morning has nearly all gone and the veg and blue cheese quiche I made still sits there as the kids reckon it smells like sick :rotfl:

Think I'm going for a cuppa, anyone else for one

Then its swap more washing over and clean up the kitchen ready for tea.

    see ya later
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Stripped DD's bed and that's nearly dry on the line. Just remade with the other set. It's very breezy here and keeps raining on and off but then it's sunny again. Next time it rains the washing is coming in because it's just about dry now.

Dishes all done, front of cupboards done, floor brushed and moped.

Think the boys room should be done next, such a mess.

Right cuppa anyone???:coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Right, just finished typing piece for school newsletter. Where shall I tackle first kitchen or bathroom  .

I plugged the dryer in this morning and five minutes later heard a massive crackle, fizz, pop coming from the kitchen. I went in to find the dryer plug covered in soot and totally fried  .

I have changed the plug and it seems to be okay now. I have avoided using the same socket though (think the faceplate needs replacing)

I had to laugh. As I was changing the plug, in between making the kids breakfast, setting up the ironing board, pegging washing out, washing up....my OH sat at the kitchen table reading the paper  . I do sometimes wonder what purpose he serves
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j
