i was offered the AOL 6.99 deal too, last week. but they wanted a new 12 month contract. told them to stuff it.

(ps. im getting 2.5mb ok today!) sods law.Get some gorm.0 -
got me o2 connected today. alls well so far.
3mb and 1mb speeds.
switching from AOL was easy an enough process.Get some gorm.0 -
Got offered the £6.99 deal for upto 8mb internet+AOL talk+new router+12 month contract.
better from my current £9.99 for 0.5mb (what i get on speed test)+AOL talk.
the CS rep did mention that i probably would get only 2.5 to3mb on my line.----reasonable as my neighbours on O2 get only 3 mb.
Agreed to the deal but shall opt out if i do not get the promised speed in the 2 week opt out phase.0 -
I've been on AOL (Carphone Warehouse now right?) for 5 years and the speed has been terrible. If I was bothered to change ISPs I would. Paying £9.99 unlimited for silver though.0

this is why I don't understand what the 12.99 deal is they are offering. Have also been an AOL customer for more years than care to remember.0
