It all depends on how much you want to pay. We organised our daughters wedding here in France two years ago, official wedding at Marie followed by a "wedding" in front of 50 guests at a lovely chateau. Then a meal, French dancers etc. Total cost including accommodation for some of the guests £1200. The other guests stayed in local B&B and campsites. People still say it was the best wedding they have been to! I will PM you more.0

I'd say Cyprus, but with a few considerations. Go out of season (Even late september early october is very hot and a lot cheaper to travel)
Last time I checked, the cost of a wedding license was about £130 CYP (not sure what that is in Euro's and they've stopped using CYP)
Most hotels in paphos can now do weddings under a change to the law that came in earlier this year.
If you try smaller areas, eg, !!!!ouri Village, you may get better deals, but it is worth considering a wedding planner.
How about hiring a winery for the reception? I went to a lovely one with my family in July, and you'll be served with a meze (warning- do not eat for about 5 weeks before hand if you get a meze, as you won't be able to manage it all- we counted 14 dishes) Works out at about 15 euro each, but not sure what their prices would be for hiring. I'll speak to my mother and find out if the winery has a website for orders. Only consideration... organise transport well in advance.
My parents live out there, so if you're interested in the area, I should be able to get more info for youMake £2012 in 2012 Member 2290 -
I second Sicily (Taormina to be precise), I loved it when i went there for a holiday and thought it would be a great place for a wedding. Charter flights to Catania are not too pricey.we have love enough to light the streets.0
