Ive been thinking. I don't see why they can't issue the ppl the cameras they won while it was not active. If it was not active then why did they allow the page to be up and running again(and winning)? They have not said that there was hackers this time. It seems to have been their mistake. They are able to stop wins during the weekend but why not then? I understand why they aren't issuing the cameras during the hacked few days. Can't this be taken up with ASA??(if that's what it's called)

apparently Thin Martian AREN'T in control of when the competition goes live. The decision is not up to them, they are waiting to be told when they can go live again. But all cameras will be sent out within 6-8 weeks once it finishes..

so yeah,I'm betting on another extension coming out, unless somehow they get told to go again tomorrow. But lovely people, shame they arent replying to emails and we're having to resort to calling them..

Been following this fantastic thread since the start. Lucky ole me won a Coolpix very early on, and desperate to get mine for daughters birthday end of September. So I think its time for action.:p

I am really cheesed off how they have kept everyone in the dark over wins. Nine weeks on and like everyone else have no idea whether they will honour it. They also seem to think they can change the rules and mess everyone around. :cool:

If they extend it further, change the rules and keep everyone waiting then I think the Institute of Sales Promotions will be getting a call. By the sounds of it, there is plenty for them to work on.;););)

For me, I'd be most interested to find out if the T&C's from the day/time of the win or the amended ones are the ones that are needed to be followed (I print screened the original ones before the change as I had a feeling they might change them) and they still might end up changing them again.

Also, if they're not in control of it, why cant they tell us who is and who it is we need to complain to about all of this, it really is very frustrating but i cant do anything this week due to being on hols!lol

Anyway, good luck to everyone who has already won in getting what we're all due and especially to cg in the hope that there's still a chance for you to win

aye, I've got a printout of the original T&C's from the day I won.. I figured best play it safe myself too, glad to see I wasn't the only one I thought (and I'm no legal mind, mind ) that the terms that applied when you won, apply to your win, and modified ones are for after..? then again, I could be completely making that up!

I'm assuming its now in Microsoft's hands, as its technically their competition?

oh, and have a lovely holiday, you lucky thing!

it all kicked off when you were away.. noone seems to know what's going on
