What I can't work out is why he bid £58

He bid £60 because he was going up in £5 increments, obviously hoping not to outbid you. But as soon as he bid £60 he would disclose your top bid. If he wanted to push you to your limit he should have bid £57 after retracting the £60 bid.

Edit: watch out for yet another bidder who now bids £57 in the closing minutes - if that happens, I'd put money on it being another shill bidder account.

lakeaura won 3 items from the seller kenmc1969 in April 2006 as well.

they left each other feedback, but spaced it out over a few days.

Auction has just finished, I was outbid, by someone who registered 2 days from when the seller registered ~ curious hey! :cool:

http://www.goofbay.com/ebay_tools.html takes you to a site where you can check history of sellers and bidders. I get more success checking seller history, but the bidder history has helped me catch a few other shilling idiots.
