:mad: just been told on the phone that the last of my 5 items are now out of stock and i will not get them, ever. Even tho i had a vip slot on thus 5pm and they were showing loads as well as up 2 five day dell. Still i suppose i was lucky enough 2 get most of what i wanted for the kids. I do remember that this happened to me over xmas as well. Luck of the draw i guess.
Oh no. Hope I don't have the same problem as I'm still waiting on goods from an order I placed on my VIP slot and they were listed as "in stock" at the time of order. Wouldn't care so much but I could've bought them in store but thought I'd wait for my directory order. That'll teach me!!0 -
I'm the same - really wanted a white jacket and some jammys but neither have come yet.0

Is it the reversible one? I got the bikini version of that, but now Im waiting on a white & blue stripe bikini top0 -

This happened to me last year and I had no problem returning the items. Next aren't going to charge you for an item when they can see quite clearly the problem. If you are worried, why don't you telephone and get them to clarify the situation? The will probably be able to tell you if the item your waiting on will arrive eventuallyLook after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0

I've just sent back to big bags of clothes, mostly girls 9-12 months, and some boys age 4 and 3-4 jeans & trousers, so hopefully they'll put them back online for someone else!Top Cash Back: £882

Have just telephoned Next and asked where the rest of my large order is as i haven't received any homewear or childrenswear and i was waiting for another 40 or so items to be delivered and got told that there was no childrenswear or homewear things on my order and that there is only another 5 items that are on delay!!
i had a VIP slot at 5pm on Wed and placed my order over the phone as my computer was playing up........got transferred to a call centre in India! I read out my order to her and gave her childrens and home stuff first as they were what i really wanted, but seems this part of the order has been lost!!!:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
Now i have nothing for my little boy, if anyone's sending things back age 2-3 for boys can they let me know!!0 -

Don't most places these days 'record all phone calls for training purposes' etc.....?
I'm guessing that you will have a pretty good idea what time you telephoned your order through on the Wednesday. I would ring - or possibly even write to Next explaing what has happened and ask them to check their tapes for ( quote date and time ). I would then go onto say that as an error has occured on their part that you expect to be able to order the equivalent 1/2 price goods out of the new dirctory.
I know this might not help if you wanted specific items but you may still get some bargains!!!0
