If you got that letter, I'm afraid it means that their system shows that the item was sent to you, and you haven't returned it. Therefore, you will be charged for it. They are basically saying we won't look any further into it because as far as we are concerned you got it and have kept it.

I had the same thing happen to me with an item. I rang them when I received the letter and was asked if the parcel it arrived in was damaged, it wasn't but the operator said that she would put it down that it was and they would refund it. I haven't had my statement yet so haven't been able to check it.

  • I just got my statement the other day. I was charged twice for an item I received once and an item I returned wasn't credited. I called them & the lady said I was going to get a letter to sign to say I never got the item & she credited me with the returned item. Also noticed I was refunded delivery 6 times!!!

Well I must admit this sale has been very moneysaving for me:money:  I had a vip slot on first thursday morning and ordered about £350 worth of stuff for myself:o :o I have received much less than half of this to date £71 actually and havent had a delivery for 2 weeks. I wont be using next again as I think this is wrong putting things in the sale in the hope someone sends them back:rolleyes: I dont know what they have been playing at this year but I would imagine there are lots of customers pretty annoyed at this

Still I now have a bit of extra money to spend elsewhere :T

Has anyone had the 'missing item, was supposedly in the parcl, no further action' fiasco resolved?

My statement arrived today and despite phoning them at the time and telling them the item was missing and them saying i wouldn't be charged (and would get a refund of the del charge) sure enough, been charged for the item and delivery. Phoned them up, told a letter would be sent for me to sign and then they may credit my account! I would have asked to speak to someone higher, only it was areally bad line and i could barely hear what they were saying and my baby had just woken up and was screaming.

Will wiat and see what this letter says....

My statement came and at first I'd thought that the item hadn't been refunded but when I went through everything that was on there I noticed that that particular item wasn't on the statement at all so Next must have had it taken off.
