Been to Next today and bought around 30 items, it wasn't until i got home that I noticed that the SA has put through 3 of the items through twice although I only got one of everything I bought..so overcharged £16, Kicking myself as usually I add everything up as I go along but it was early so brain wasn't functioning otherwise I would have noticed
Has anybody else had this?

Went to Next Clearance today. Lots of girl's tops from £1 to £3. DDs very happy, but nothing for me.

not in this sale but in the winter sale i bought a childrens quilt cover and when i checked my till recipt i noticed that i had been charged twice, took the recipt to my next store and they gave me a gift card for the same amount, no fuss or anything, and i didnt even buy it from that store, they were fantastic, so i would do the same, mistakes happen, good luck,:A

i have asked this q before, but will try again- does anyone work in the stock room in next stores????????? i would love to give this a try but not worked in retail before, is there anything special needed to apply for this post, thanks in advance,

Yeah why do they do this? What's the point of grabbing loads of things that you're gona return anyway. I mean I can see the point if you're buying, say, a bra or a pair of jeans that you're not sure of the size you'll need, but people in my Next were stuffing bags full of anything, it seemed. And that was at 5am!!!

I was super thick they day before I flew off to cyprus...popped into to get DS a few more sunhats(chucks them out of buggy) and picked myself up a pair of boots(yes i know it is summer) as a treat...paid...left...went on hols.

Came back and went to take one hat back as had broken stitching, realised when refunding hat to card that the boots had scanned twice(bill of nearly hundred, not fifty doh!), told manager that they had been put through twice but I had not realised as this was just before close the day before I flew off etc and she said no problem and put the amount back on my card.

Apparently it happens alot, maybe the best bet is to call the tel on your reciept and they will put you through to the store, then you can talk to one of the dept managers and atleast they know you are going in, rather than feeling awkward just turning up etc

Cripes, i'm waffling! :rotfl:

Thanks for the replies..can't get through to stores until Monday due to sale they are not taking calls, you both made me feel better though ..Thanks again x
