Next summer sale

Did a online shop at 7:45am, a few things were out of stock. Then went to my local NEXT to see what was about. Quite chuffed with my buys! My son is kitted out now for a while.Tiredness is starting to kick-in now....

My local M&S store opened this morning at 6am to catch the Next shoppers as it is just over the road from the Next store in Newcastle. M&S staff were non too happy about it!!!

theres M&S right next door to my local Next store ,its usually open early on Next sale day but wasn't this morning

I'd never been to Next sale before. I went in at 2pm and it was full of good stuff still. Turns out one of the staff is an old college mate, and she said it was mental this morning, but they've still got tonnes and tonnes of stock out the back. Got lots of outfits for my nephews christmas box, I'm mega pleased Got his christening outfit (a suit, reduced from 23 to 10) and my sisters paying me back for it, which is even better!

yes they def go back to the warehouse, the only things that go to the next clearance stores are the items that dont sell by the time the sale finishes, (off sited ) trust me- keep an eye out early morning and list numbers go up, ive had loads of things this way,:j

i went to our york store this morning, arrived at 4:30 and i was amazed at how few people were there, it was the calmest next sale ive ever been too in years,people started to arrive nearer the 5am time,but still quiet, got lots for the home-:T not much for myself,and quite a bit for my children, spent an absolute fortune but very pleased, loved the " love hearts " at the till though, need to go to bed now as im soooooo tired,;)

Just got back from work.

my god you women are messy!!
spent about 2 hours picking up clothes and putting them back on the rail. bit annoying wen you finished cleaning the row across the wall, then you come back 30 seconds later to find it all back on the floor again.

spent most the time in the back clearing the last of the sale stock and preparing for the new season goods to come in.

All in all it wasnt as bad as i thought, but then again it wasnt great still had to weave my way through the crouds of people looking for a bargin.

Ah well, staff got free food in the staff room all day to keep us happy :T

I shop in the sales all the time and think that if stock was put out in its sizes people wouldn't rake as much and there would be higher sales. It works in TK Maxx and Littlewoods Clearance. Suggest it to your management next time. Would be a god send in the clearance store as it becomes like a jumble sale.
