i just looked its like this:

dont know if that helps!0 -
That looks like vertical polarisation - which may well mean that the aerial is pointing at a repeater.
Take a look at neighbours' aerials and see if they all point the same way and with the same polarisation as yours. If not, it may just mean that yours needs to be re-aligned.0 -
Also note that untill your region switches over to digital only, the digital signal is only being put out at around 50% of it's power. If a new ariel makes no difference them you may have to wait till the switchover.Laters

Techguys are part of rip-off PCWorld/Dixons.
You will get a better price from a local TV shop (with the added bonus that as they are local they will know the exact type of aerial needed)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
You could try DIY installing a antenna inside loft. It worked for us.This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

Just a thought: do you or your neighbours have any tall trees or hedges in your garden? My auntie and uncle bought a digital telly with built-in freeview a few months ago, according to freeview the signal in their area was fine. All they could get was intermittent signal, it was idffierent every time they switched the telly on. Everything from snowstorm to main channels to absolutely nothing....until the lady round the corner had the trees in her garden cut back - perfect signal ever since!!OS weight loss challenge: 4.5/6 lbs0

I think i'll have to contact a local tv company and ask for advice. I have no loft access as i am ground floor. Hopefully they know the ins and outs, and can quote for a new aerial/re positioning. Then I can weight this up against getting sky or virgin media.0

The postcode checking on the site doesn't seem to be very reliable from what I have heard, so it is possible they are just wrong!I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0

We got a local guy to install new aerial - only cost £45 including fitting. The man was exceptionally nice and helpful as well0
