Anniestar, I hope you find the strength to get through what sounds like a traumatic experience.
I can only offer you some 'internet' support at this time, not much really in the grand scheme of things but my thoughts and best wishes are with you and yours. xDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Afternoon all
Had a lovely day.............gale force winds we expected held off a bit...more like what you'd call 'high winds' and sunshine.......loads of it. Just as well......there was a 1960s themed craft fair in our little town and a lot of work had gone into it. Town was packed.......still is. Beatles type band playing in the market square, shops all open, cafes and pubs all had tables and chairs outside, at the other end of the town morris dancing, an elvis impersonator (local lad, very good)............it was brilliant !
Could have spent loads but didn't as we're very broke apart from buying a coffee and watching all the free entertainment. A lot of fun.......just goes to show money doesnt always mean a better time is had.
Hope your having a good day and hugs ((((((((:o )))))) to all those who need themMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

anniestar ((((HUGS)))) and condolences to you and your family on your loss. Sorry to hear your news.
taplady thanks for the congratulations. I've been losing the weight steadily but I'm beginning to hit that stage where I'm a bit fed up now. Still, I will keep at it.
The turtle is finished :j and even though I do say so myself, it looks quite good. Can't post a photo as I don't have the equipment so you will just have to trust me.
Had a look in the fridge and I have some cream, yoghurt and creme fraiche that need to be used up very soon so I will be googling some recipes, after I have checked the Mega Index of course!
BM is on and I'm about to root around in the freezer to see what we can have for dinner as I forgot to take the chicken out to defrost.
Managed to clear a lot of rubbish from one of my kitchen cupboards so I'm thinking of rearranging them all as I just don't seem to have enough storage space and I know it is down to bad organization.
Off to read the Mega Index recipe thread. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Apologies that I haven't read all posts yet, but I did glance at anniestar's. My heart and hugs go out to you and your family. :grouphug:
I'm supposed to be writing reports at the moment. It's all going well-ish, but I needed a break from trying to gush about the little dears. Then again, I am quite honest (perhaps too honest in a couple of cases  but I know it won't be a huge shock to the parents!). I think that I've built up a really good relationship with most parents of children in my class. I was even commended by the deputy with the positive relationships that I'd built up with parents over the last year.
We had beans on toast for lunch and I think that supper may well be fish cakes with erm, potatoes and salad. I did do a meal plan, but I haven't taken the chicken out of the freezer for tonight's entry, so it'll have to be something that's easier!
Take care all
