    Morning all

Another day of garden landscaping planned in adverse weather - the concrete slab we laid for the shed is now all pock-marked with rain - at least the shed will cover it up so I suppose it doesn't matter.

    oh left an offline message on yahoo last night - still haven't spoken in any meaningful way and i'm beginning to think there is no future as i can't take this kind of treatment - not knowing if he's dead or alive, planning a future with me or not, even thinking of me or not, is taking its toll on me. i don't know anything any more. i know he's not well, but not being together, and not being able to see him at all through this is desperate for me. i will always be there for him, but i think i have to get my head round the fact that it may not be in the way i hoped it would;

anyway, hugs to all in need of them, and have a lovely sunday.

    PO xx

Morning, all. *great big hugs to those in need* It's a bit of a mixed bag in terms of the weather and as I haven't had much sleep last night, I've seen it all! We had a few rumbles of thunder throughout the night - no lightning or any storms of proper note, though! It's rained though, which is good for my growbag.

In store for today will be a little garden tidying, either for a charity bash next weekend or my own, working on my homemade Christmas presents and making a lovely beef stew for tonight and tomorrow night's teas. I made a bit of a revision to my own meal plans for the week so we're not eating potatoes three days in a row!

    Have a lovely Sunday :)

    Morning everyone,

It's been a gorgeous, sunny weekend over here. :p:D Spent the day with DD yesterday, we didn't get home until nightfall. She left just before lunch today. I've been pottering in the garden with DH this arv. Made HM Pizza for tea & DD bought over a lovely lemon impossible pie for dessert.

Got 2 dress patterns and some material yesterday. I'm going to attempt to make a couple of dresses in the next few weeks. :D Should be interesting. I've got the sewing bug. DSis will be out of hospital tomorrow.

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday. Off to catch up with yesterday's thread so <hugs> to those not well. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Good morning

We had the most horrendous rainstorm last night. Sounded as though an ocean was being dumped on the house! At least the roof seemed to stand up to it ( have had major problems in the past).

stef Hope the "talk" goes well. XOH isn't being fair on you or your DD. Bad luck on the football - we were rooting for the Netherlands too.
catowen good luck with the weigh in. I weighed myself this morning and I have broken through another stone barrier - total loss 2st 1/2 lb. :j
essex-girl fingers crossed it stays dry for you today.
poppyoscar it sounds like a difficult decision you have to make but you should put yourself first.
    dogrose ((hugs)) to you.
(((hugs))) to all those in need.

Bit of a lie in as we stayed up late-ish last night. The turtle is progressing well - just as well as it needs to be handed in tomorrow.

Chicken for dinner today and will probably make a fruit jelly to use up the fruit.

Mass soon so must get myself moving. Have a sunny Sunday (wishful thinking, isn't it? :D ). xx

    Morning all,

Went to a BBQ at a friends last night, so feel a little bit delicate this morning :o , need to drink more tea and get some toast then crack on. We have my parents coming for lunch and OH's dad, to celebrate fathers day, we were busy last week, I have a huge piece of pork to cook, so better get that in the oven soon. I will do roasties, cauli and brocoli cheese, carrots and corgettes, with apple and rhubarb crumble for pud, apples from my tree from last year and rhubarb from next door's garden :T . Other than that, we will have a lazy afternoon, maybe watch a film.

Poppy, I know exactly what you are going through, it is very hard, but you have to put yourself first hugs to you xxx

Hugs to smoky and the children, hope you are having a good weekend xx

    Have good days all xx

It's blowing a gale here, very humid and sunny, will hang washing out in a mo. Should be dry in an hour!

Hugs to all this morning. POPPYOSCAR hugs to you too.

Have been for a run and feel quite with it for a Sunday. Off to the farm shop in a mo. Roast beef, yorkshires and veg for dinner. Will take DS swimming later.

    Have a good day all

God Morning! It was sunnier earlier when I went to the early service at Church - now it looks as if the rain is seriously thinking about it! Shame, as I have a load of towels and bedding I was hoping to get dry outside. Still, there's always the airers that can go up in the conservatory.
DH and I treated ourselves to a new Flymo yesterday. I hate the old petrol one we have and with DH's heart problems starting it is difficult!!! Anyway, we have followed the pics as well as possible and were really pleased that we'd fixed it all together - but it seems very low to me. I know I'm 5ft.8ins tall, but loads of folks are taller, and this is going to give me backache. Any ideas as to what we may have got wrong????
I have a cupboard full of ironing that leaps at me when I open the door, so I should do that today (well, some of it!) but apart from that I think this could be a lazy sort of day!
Hope you all enjoy your Sunday and ((HUGS)) to all in need.

Assume the pollen count is high around here as I woke up with streaming eyes and nose!!!

Freezer has had some kind of power problem during the night so have told every one not to touch it as have reset it.

Need to get DH to give me a lift as I want some milk and heavy stuff for later today.

Got tempted by the Amazon offer on a panny and gave in and ordered it. I have wanted one for ages and it is a really good offer. Have a birthday in August so might try to hide it away till then.

My Morphy Richards fastbake is still working so I feel a bit guilty.

No idea what to have for lunch and do not want to open the freezer so will see what the supermarket has later.

Hugs to everyone having a tough time especially, PennyP, smokey, candygirl, poppy, etc.
