I stopped doing for Bare for much the same reason. You cant keep a whole day free, just incase they decide to give you the job the previous day. it,s too long to wait, you cant plan anything.

I think we need to start our own Trade Union LOL ;)

These companies take the pee because they know full well that someone will do the work eventually. If we all turned around and told them to get lost until they improved how they treated their shoppers, then they'd have to do something about it!

The tanker drivers have done it, teachers have done it, council workers and even Argos workers are going to do it, so why don't we go on strike for improved working conditions? :D

I know! Just call me Red Ken! giggle :D

    You're on Ken! :D

Sadly newbies will always do the cheapest of jobs for the novelty value - I was one once and I know that when a gapburger released happened, I was all over it like herpes!

Quick favour please.... could someone who does gapchicken jobs PM me with what the cheapest possible option to buy is? I'm doing the one with the huge premium this week and want to maximise my income! ;)

Seriously - I have thought about setting up an "association of mystery shoppers" on more than one occassion - I am more than happy to to in some time to get this going....

I have helped run a couple of charities before, I think I would have half an idea what's involved.

Have you done any of these Leila? I forgot to ask the fee ( in know, what was i thinking) - :wall:
I do them regularly. I felt the same the first time and I never asked for the fee either. Anyway I get my pay by check on the 27 of the following month and it is about twice the cost of the pizza (they include the VAT). Not bad!

Baby is doing well thanks, she is 16 weeks now  and just started her on baby rice! I have never seen any phone jobs on RE before but I guess thats why!! I will make a point of looking from now on!

I did have a few emails off them last week about pharmacy jobs and some other that I can't remember :o so need to keep an eye out this week!
Wow time goes so fast! 16 weeks? if feels not long since you said that you are taking maternity time off. I remember the time when I first started giving them solids... memories!

My first post on this thread, I started MS when I sold my business and had spare time and must admit I liked the novelty factor at first with the GAP jobs etc and agree with the above poster

However I am quickly becoming very disgruntled with the way some of these companies feel they can treat people -

The poxy fees paid by Gap is not worth my time unless off course there is a premium with the job, I have had a few begging calls as well

BARE - I had 13 jobs in the space of 4 weeks and then for the next 2 months have had nothing despite having applied for many of the jobs, have tried emailing them and have had no reply.

GFK IMO, pay very fairly but you have to be quick to get a job

RE must ne my area but never any jobs available

I truly believe that if enough MS do not take every job that is offered (mainly small fee ones) however I do appreciate that a small fee for 1 person may be a reasonable fee for another. Nevertheless with dedicated threads on MS on this site it is only good news for these companies as they will be inundated with potential MS who will do jobs for less.
