Has anyone done a MS for a certain mobile brand? I did two today, and have two more tomorrow .... the scenario is more complicated, and the questionnaire more lengthy, than the two others I've done so far. And yes, I did make sure to mention that!
Had a funny moment though, when taking a photo of one shop .... a guy going into a block of flats next door asked me, very suspiciously, why I was taking a photo ... next time I'm going to whisper loudly 'THE GOVERNMENT IS WATCHING YOU ...'
Is this the one I'm thinking of where you have to count all the phones on display for about 5 different manufacturers, as well as the rest of the shop on what brand the shop recommends etc? I had this booked to do for a really small phone shop in town and in the end I wasn't able to do it but to be honest it was quite arelief - there's no way i would have been able to count them and remember the numbers, and no way I could have made a note, on my phone (which I wasn't supposed to have as it is the same brand as I was shopping) or otherwise without being sussed by the staff!0 -

If it's anything like the last one I must say I'm looking forward to it - as soon as I asked for a receipt the staff couldn't do enough for me and kept asking me if I was OK or if I needed anything. Are you allowed to mention pushy staff??!! What does everyone else do at burger jobs if they think they've been sussed? I even did as someone else mentioned and took a sudouku book and my Barclaycard bill to look at and one lady still kept coming up to me with leaflets, asking how my burger was etc. I just kept smiling and saying thank you!!
I did a gapburger yesterday and wasn't sussed again!! The burger places in my local area that I do couldn't suss a mystery shopper if their life depended on it! The girl that served me had a very vacant look and if she had smiled her face would have cracked! I was obviously an inconvenience and how dare I order something that meant she had to walk any distance to collect!:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j

Sounds familiar ... and the scenario was impossible to follow without looking suspicious. The questionnaire is as long as your arm, and there's far too much info to remember. Neither shop had the brand in stock, and one of them just wasn't interested in selling me anything ... they did not get a good report ...Sarah_Joanne wrote: »Is this the one I'm thinking of where you have to count all the phones on display for about 5 different manufacturers, as well as the rest of the shop on what brand the shop recommends etc? Would that be SE for Bare?
I've now done 8 of them - it certainly makes more sense to do more than 1, as they are then a doddle. Counting the phones still a pain, but when I mentioned this I was told a good estimate is more than fine!
The only problem with living in a smaller town is that 6 of them are next door to each other, so you have to sneak past the previous shop...:A Sealed Pot Challenge - number 263 :A0 -

It would indeed be SE. And if you could remember everything you were supposed to ask, you've a better memory than I do!
I live in a city, so the shops are more scattered. Maybe you could try a selection of cunning disguises?Would that be SE for Bare?

SO remember I said yesterday I had all that palava with the quiz for the bare shop, then the shop isn't there any more. Well I obviously emailed to tell them and have a reply this morning thanking me for the info and that they will remove this shop from the list, and I will get 50% of the shop fee. Should I stand my ground and say I want all of it?
They have been good to me with other shops after I did that credit check one for them last month.0 -
