Ha! No suprise they're down - you should have known they meant Friday instead of Saturday in their recent emails! Shoppers are telepathic don't you know....
What a bunch of monkeys.0 -
It depends on the shop. Some of the ones were between 11.30 and 2.30 and others you could choose to go either before 11.30 or after 2.30. HTH0

I'm getting the same thing when I log onto GAP. Was surprised as didn't think it was going down until tomorrow afternoon!!!! I've got a gapburger this afternoon and a travel agent this morning but I saved mine to my desktop last night. I was trying to get to the computer one for Sunday so hopefully the site will be back up before I need to go!!0

I remember seeing between 11.30 and 2.30 now (i think). I knew I should have printed them yesterday. Thanks!

Actually my moan about GAP isn't totally substantiated. I had a call from them yesterday asking me to do a chicken job. As I don't ever accept these, I rarely get called these days - so I knew that yesterday's was a chance to rake some money in! I said no, that I don't do these jobs because the pay's not good enough and he made me an offer (a couple of quid premium)...
I turned down the offer, suggested my ideal fee and he pretty much broke his phone with the speed he ended the call and put it down. An hour later I was driving back from the gym and I had another call from a sheepish GAP employee who offered me my original request
So if anyone gets a call and doesn't particularly want to do the job and the money won't be too big a loss if they don't get it; make them a high offer (at least double the original fee) and let them laugh you off the phone. There's a very good chance they'll call you back and accept it later.

I just LOVE this gif!!! is it from this site cookinmummy?
Yep - where the little gifs are to the right of where you write your post there is a little link saying 'more' - click that and its at the bottom of the page
Last night when I said I would be sensible and go and print off my gap stuff for Saturday - I didn't! Thought I'd just do it this morning in the end - arghhhhh :wall:(how about that one Bob!).0 -

I've had a mail from them this morning saying that I'm not allowed to do chicken jobs anymore:
"Following good practice measures, our clients require us to continually provide a broad range of shoppers to complete their evaluations; therefore we periodically review our shopper database."
"As a result of this practice, we are now unable to offer you any further xxx assignments. Your help has been greatly appreciated."
Not that I'm particularly bothered as I don't eat the chicken anyway, my OH does, (plus I'm starting a "proper" job in four weeks time anyway) but there's always that nagging doubt that you've done something wrong
I'm feeling a bit unloved

I must admit Timmne, that I have never asked for a premium on any mystery shop I think I will do on GAP jobs cos the pay is rubbish. They are also the only I company I have ever worked for that has ever failed to pay me for a shop.0

Yeah I view the premiums on GAP as a kind of insurance in case they should ever decide to not pay me - which will happen one day I'm sure!
Willowthecat - I got one of those emails from GAP but about their pizza jobs - quite coincidental really as I was just about to join a gym to lose some of the GAP/pizza flab!0
