I got my own back on the nice sales person when I was asked if I was a mystery shopper!

Did you know it is possible to get married at one long haul destination on the day of arrival? All you need is a passport and the marriage is recognised in the UK. Even better is the fact that my Russian fiancee does not even need a visa!

Paul is that you hinting that you might be hearing wedding bells on this little ms jaunt!??

    What a bonus! :T

Just got my first job with ISC:rotfl: . Telephone job next week (needs to be recorded). Anyone with them or know what they are like?

Yep - I have one of these to do next week - its not my first with ISC but I only joined them a couple of weeks ago and they seem pretty straightforward. The recorded call thing is fine - you just realise how baaaaddd your voice sounds! he he :rotfl:

Taking a baby on an MS shop is not allowed but making one does seem to breach the guidelines!

Just spent the day in bed exhausted with a migraine after doing four big mystery shops (and a few smaller ones) in the past week.

Does anyone else find it tough going to vehicle dealerships haggling for the best price on a vehicle? And by the time I was finishing off the reports last night I just got a complete mental block. I have not done this type of shop before and will think carefully about doing them again.

Anyway, 80% is not bad for the first one of the four reports.

I completely feel for you Paul (hope the migraine is better now btw :D)

I signed up for a cluster thinking that it would be about 4 or 5 of them and I ended up with 11 to do in 6 days! I'd never done that sort of particular shop before either and I was climbing the walls by the time I finished

I keep getting asked to do more, BUT NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have done BARE quizzes but not for this shop. There often seems to be mistakes in the quizzes or the answer they require cannot be found anywhere.

But the BARE quizzes allow you to keep trying (indefinitely I think) until you get the right answer. Just remember that some questions may require more than one answer to be selected.

I'm sure you're right, Chas, but as far as I'm concerned if it doesn't say you can't take a child then I usually will because that's my lifestyle and I will make the assumptions to suit me, since I know whether or not my child is likely to sit in a pushchair quietly or be screaming blue murder....I suppose I like to be given the credit of the intelligence and ability to make this decision for myself as long as I am not blatantly flouting requirements, and I owuld encourage any other child-addled mshopper to do the same!.;)

Be careful! Never make assumptions to suit you. You're employed by a company to do a job to their standards and not yours, and you should clear any issues up with them before you go on the job.

When a report is not 100% perfect, the staff sometimes go through it looking for reasons to reject it. If they say your child was a distraction to either yourself or themselves, you could end up not being paid.

No child is ever 100% perfect - they all misbehave at times. It doesn't even have to be a screaming tantrum. Even just them asking a random question or coughing/sneezing so you break eye contact to look at the child can put an employee off their sales pitch.

I've got three children and I rarely take them with me, as I don't feel I can do a good enough job when they are with me. My mind is half on the job and half on keeping an eye on what my child is up to, even if they are sitting quietly in the pushchair.
Here I go again on my own....

Yreah someone else was saying they were struggling with it - I can see why now!! It asks you what you need to listen out for the salesman talking about, and there are 7 different answers. It doesn't tell yuou how many you need to tick. I have tried ticking the only ones that are mentioned in the notes but that is incorrect. The trouble is there are so many possible combinations as there are 7 possible answers and you might need 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 of them!!
