Wonder if I would pass the test having a posh version of a Billy Connolly accent. I could always do some jokes for them.I kow I will be accused of name dropping here but I actually know him as I vaccinated all his children. His 1st marriage not his kids to Pamela Stephenson. I even told him a medical joke which is so funny I still tell it to this day and he used it on stage. And I never got royalties for it.

Money from Gap should be paid the 24th of the month following the assignment but they just seem to be paying when they want at the moment.

Checked my account today and no sign of the money from Junes assignments!

I was wondering when the GAP non-payment subject would come up!

GAP's policy is that they pay at the end of the month - I know it used to be 24th or thereabouts but I think they stick to the EOM now. (Off to check to see what the OP says!)

So did you tell them you messed up or did you keep quiet about the error?

GYP's website says they authorise the payments on the 20th which means payment on the 24th. However, when I e-mailed last month I was told I would get paid on the 28th!! Checked bank account today and no money!!

I decided honesty was the best policy so I did email them to tell them my error but didn't hear anything back

Right - now I've managed to post. For some god known reason my pop up blocker didn't work yesterday and I ended up getting inundated with Anti Spyware spam that completely messed up my computer so I had to re-boot the whole stupid machine. I've been trying to post on here all morning but it wouldn't let me post. I've read through all the FAQ's and finally managed to change some settings to allow me to post. Needless to say I lost my MS spreadsheet but luckily I had printed it out and now need to re-input it all - what fun!!!:mad:

Also had e-mail from GYP this morning to say the fee for my assignment was staying at £*.**. Emailed back in no uncertain terms to say that I do not expect them to call me on a Saturday night asking me to do an Assignment on Monday and then refuse to pay me once I had done the assignment. To me that is breach of contract. Who wants to bet I now get struck off their register. I won't be able to get to the Small Claims Court fast enough. After the day I had yesterday - do not mess with me!!!!!

Glad it worked out for you.

They probably didn't read your mail nor spot the error.
I've had similar things with RE.
