And while I'm asking questions, what's going on with BARE? I applied for a phone job a week ago and the due date was 21st. It was still pending, even as late as this morning. Now, I've just checked and they've changed the due date to 25th. Why not just assign me the bloomin' job? I hate the not knowing.

They sent me the same email everyone else got a few days ago telling me they had assigned a job I hadn't even applied for (they hadn't). Today, ages after I queried it, I got an email saying it was an error. I'm not impressed with them at all.

With regards to the calls on RE these ones are gym based and there are lots in London so add London to your places you can visit in your profile and they will show up! I accepted one call and wanted to do another as the fee is a bit pants and thought it would be better if you could do more as the scenarios are the same but it only allows you one So they are not really worth it IMO.

Bare - I have just dumped due to non reply to email for 3 days, pending jobs for a week......

Does anyone know how badly it affects your standing with GfK if you accept a visit and then cancel it? I know it's not recommended but if I wait til they reply to my query the other job may have gone - basically, I've accepted one which I now think I don't want (due to inconsistencies in their briefing notes), now they have just made another (easier) job available, but I'm concerned they are classed as the same type of job so I may not be allowed to do them both. Can I accept both and decide if I do one or both when they finally get back to me with clarification?

Have a look in the brief, I am sure you can do both. Only some of the jobs they do specify that you can only do one. Also look at the wave number you can do the same job if it is a different wave which will have different dates and question.
If the question you want to clarify is something we can help you with then just ask, I am sure most people here have done every job on their books.

Just had an email from RE:

Thank you for accepting your forthcoming phone call assignment for XXX.
Please can you email xxx confirming you have read job notes, questionnaire and the date you will be attending.
You may have already set a date on-line but we need confirmation from yourself as to the date you will be attending.
Thank you for your time.

What next? This is getting a bit silly....

Of course!! I was hoping someone had accepted one that could be phoned after 5pm then I'd know its worth looking at the rest!

The ones I could see were 9 -7pm. Not taking it because I don't think it is worth the fee by the time you fill out the report and the cost of the call.:cool:

I agreee cookinmummy there are a few phone jobs lately that are not worth taking.

Can anyone tell me how and when Gyp pay? I did a job in May which I've not been paid for - it was a reimbursement meal so money I've spent out - should I phone/email them?
