I can beat that. They offered me a job in Stornoway. Now it is over 100 miles just to the ferry. Then 4 hours on the ferry. Would have taken me a day to get there and no return same day so would have needed an overnight stop. Being a native Gaelic speaker I would have been welcomed with open arms by the locals and force fed whisky so would have been too hungover to get the next morning ferry. Don't know the gaelic though for "I am a mystery shopper"
Can you picture me getting a phone call from RE. "What was the name of the person who served you. "I don't know I was pi5hed" "Why was your report a week late" "Eh I couldn't find a shop which sold Alka-Seltzer so I had to keep getting a hair of the dog curer then had to go into the local hospital to get a new liver hic hiccup"
Oh and do let me know when you need another visit done in Stornoway.
"I am barred from your database" Why.:rotfl:
It's OK everyone I am in one of my daft moods again.
And Timmne can you imagine my tax return for that one.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
yeah I have said similar things. Or like, you've been really helpful I'll try and find you when I come back... that usually does it.
I tried to do a pharmacy job today and the place had shut down! come back and put why I cant complete the assigment down on the form and then it all disapeared and I realised I wont get paid for it! Have emailed so I hope it goes in my favour. Course I do also have a carrot to dangle - I still see loads of these visits locally and I have a prescription that if I wanted to I could possibly take to one....!?
Oh you naughty girl. You phoned in a bomb scare minutes before you got there.:rotfl:
Now there's an idea.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
Uh oh! That's a big
NO NO I'm afraid, even if you do get a number. You'll be struck off, if you dare to ring them - so it's email only, I'm afraid! But you can always post the question on here, to see if we can help, if it's a general sort of query - just don't mention the name of the store.
oops sorry didnt know lol. The thing is ive emailed them loads of times no reply.
I did a job at underground sandwich place and burger and I ve not been able to get in to do my reports. they sent me a email saying i had so long to report it ect ect ,but still couldnt sign in. .
Just peeved ive spent money now i wont get back .

Does anyone know of any MS comps that do motorway service stations?

I have had it with that bunch of eejits. I accepted a corner grocery shop giving them one last try. I just checked to see what the date was and in my basket is a big fat ZERO, de nada, nothing.I have emailed them in no uncertain terms telling what I and many others think of them. A totally incimpetent company who should be bombed out of MS'ing.
I absolutely hate them.:eek::eek::eek:Clique member no 1.:D0 -

While we are on the subject of dumping companies
I have deactivated myself from Bare! I have not been allocated a job since joining in Nov and there is not much near me anyway and I have been pending for 4 calls since thurs
The way things are going I will probably do the same with Gyp too as I don't do most of the jobs due to poor pay/company I work for/on a diet etc etc etc
But I am for some reason hoping that one day I will log in to find a great shop listed :rotfl:- dunno why I think that tho as its clearly not going to happen:rolleyes:

As a professional (!) in the regulated financial sector, I (for example) am obliged to follow strict guidelines in terms of reporting people for tax evasion - this means I have millions of forms to fill in even before I start working for someone. I then have to monitor everthing they do financially and report them if I suspect them of doing anything unlawful.
If you should start MSing and not register with the tax man, then anyone in the regulated sector (banking, private finance, estate agents, solicitors) who finds out (or even suspects) will be obliged to report you to the authorities.
This isn't some sort of threat - I don't mean it to be in the slightest, but in very simple terms, it's not worth evading tax ever - you'll be found out and the consequences can be severe!
