GFK are a bit of a bum really - they do itemise their payments but this is only on the site a few days after payment so if you're eager, you'll be upset!

Well I survived my first pizza job - just about! It was a bit of a nightmare with the wait to be even acknowledged but thankfully the food was surprisingly good so that made up for the delay a bit. Total waste of time prebooking too. They were shocked when I said I had.....

So about £19 loss on paper. Wouldn't do that site again but might try a local one and hope it goes a lot smoother :)

I'm really looking to my first 'official' MS pay too :D

They'll probably ask you "why did it take a long time for you to be acknowledged?" Like they did for me - I felt like saying, probably because the staff are rude or ignorant :rotfl: but think I actually said, it was fairly busy, but there were enough staff on for them to have acknowledged me sooner.

I put quite a few no's and am quite sure they'll double check the waiting time lol to see if I actually meant what I'd written :D

And having done a pizza shop agree the lack of fee is outrageous!

Don t you need a prescription for these jobs though Hollypear?

I would say no as you don't get a receipt for prescriptions. Can you borrow an elderly relative's prrescription.

    Have PM'd you.

    Hi Everyone,
I got this nice email from GapBuster this morning after being with them for almost a year !...................

"Thank you for being a mystery shopper for GAPbuster Worldwide.
Following good practice measures, our clients require us to continually provide a broad range of shoppers to complete their evaluations; therefore we periodically review our shopper database. This is a great way to ensure GAPbuster delivers consistent quality results to our clients.

As a result we often remove shoppers from our system, and in this instance, unfortunately you will not be required to conduct any further assignments for GAPbuster Worldwide. We sincerely thank you for your continued efforts to improve the shopping experience for all customers.

We hope your GAPbuster shopping experience has been fun.
    Best regards,
    UK Shopper Team"

Now what about the Jobs I have done in June and July, I hope I will still be paid for them !.

I have also tried to log on but my Username is now Invalid !, I have emailed them to ask about the payments.

GAP are really, really awful at 'customer' (shopper) service - they just drop you - no warning, no nothing!

You should get paid but I would gather together your information now so you know what you're due to be paid and when.

Did you have any assignments pending (i.e. you've booked them but they've not been done yet)?

Hi, Yes I had 10 booked for August, but as I can't log on I would think they have been removed, I have to say that in all the otehr companies I do work for GapBuster have always been the worst.

Well there is the option of you persuing GAP for payment for the 10 jobs they allocated to you - Jobbingmusician has a better understanding of this but it's a case of them agreeing you should do a job for them, sending you an email to that effect and then cancelling them on you.

If it were me, I would ask for half the fees of the uncompleted jobs (or to actually do those jobs) as by now, my calendar for most of August is full. If GAP did that to me, I would now have lots of spaces in my diary which I might not now be able to fill again.

Can anyone advise me about BARE please? I applied for a couple of telephone jobs with them last week and they've been showing as pending ever since. Today is the due date, so what are they playing at? Do they allocate jobs at the last minute? Or will they have given them to someone else and just not bothered to tell me?

Secondly, is there an easy was to tell on their jobs board which are the new jobs? I keep having to plough through the whole list, surely there must be a way to sort them so you can see newly listed or something?
