Mon 29th September
I walked to and from work plus home and back again at lunchtime which helps with weight loss and training for Marathon. Did not buy Coca Cola again so another £1.50 saved at least. Hello
Just popping in to say hi and good luck with giving up Coke! I can identify as I am addicted to coffee and really need to cut down. I used to spend £5 or £6 a day on coffee but at least have managed to cut down from buying it to making my own at work though - costing me 42p per week on milk! Still I do need to cut down but I am also trying to stick to a budget and a diet so it feels like one too many mountains to climb ....
Your starting debt is very similar to mine so I am very impressed at how much you have managed to pay off so far, fab :T
Have a good day,

Hi Percy,
Many thanks for your post and comments.
The Coke habit was quite bad for me. I have still be having some but nowhere near the amount I did. As well as the health issues of far too much of the stuff there is the cost so I am glad I hardly get one now. When I first stopped I got withdrawal symptons so I reduced steadily and am happy to say I do enjoy one still but dont have to have one.
Yes, your start debt is similar to what mine was. I could have paid more off I am sure if I was a bit more dedicated, knowledgable, had visited here sooner etc etc. but I am pleased with myself and am going to keep plodding away.
All the best with your debt clearance.Total Debt now £22,525.07 Start Debt £32,732.36

Thurs 2nd October
Days not over with yet, but wont be online much longer today.
Paid £30 towards Barclayloan, which is my biggest creditor and it took me below £12K. Still masses left to pay but its another landmark I suppose, something to motivate.
I also had no Coca-Cola and used the £1.50 I would have spent towards my Barclaycard (joined the A payment a day thread).Total Debt now £22,525.07 Start Debt £32,732.36
