Well i have some good news which from my last post i was struggling a little. A week or 2 ago we had our bank charges back from abbey £475 plus £245 charges that we were going to recieve are now cancelled. So things are looking up, the first thing we did was do a food shop (we hadnt done one of them for a good few months) and were practically living off beans on toast, or egg on toast lol the debt busting just to get rid of now and to make sure our joint account doesnt get into that mess again.
Hope everything is going well for you Hobsch!

It is great to see the debt going down, although for me in the past few months it has been by small amounts.
I am hoping from November I can start to pay some more serious chunks off.Total Debt now £22,525.07 Start Debt £32,732.36

Hi everyone.
This thread has gone quiet latley, Hobsch & clearmydebts, hope u both going well ?
I am still in the 19k mark. I have had to adjust my orginal target this year, I was hoping to get into 16k range but now realisticly think i will achieve to be in 18.5k ish, which i will mean I have reduced by debt by nearly 50% over 2 and half years. I think it could of been better if i stopped smoking !
hope to hear soon.

Hi Optmus,
Good to see you on here and well done on the debt reduction. You have done really well
I have been on hols in Oz so that's why I haven't been on. I have come back with more debts from Oz but won't be adding it into my sig as I hope to pay it off with AQA. I am also saving for my first baby (due in Feb) so am not able to pay off as much as I would like. I want to have a good savings cushion for when the baby arrives though.
