You get Sky Sports news as part of the basic Sky package, so you could ditch all but the entertainment mix with Sky and only pay £16/ month.
Or maybe get a DAB radio and listen to BBC Radio 5 live and 5 live sports extra, superior coverage and the pictures are better.:rotfl:That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Hi everyone, this may not be right post to post it here and i did not know where to post it. I have to move my house and there is no cable service in the new area so i had to disconnect VM. I am thinking of moving to Sky can anyone advise me what is the best way to go forward. If the option is only sky then what are the best deals available, i checked and the cheapest i found is £26 incl. Bt line. I also want asian channels. Greatful for advice.0

There are no Asian channels on Freeview, don't know about freesat. So I guess its hobsons choice.
If Sky have a recommend a friend offer on maybe you could get someone to refer you.
Just to rub it in Sky prices are going up in September. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
could you please be more specific, What is ''freesat and hobsons choice''You mean freeview is basic sky package? Sorry to be so lack of knowledge about these.0
-
Sorry for not being clear.
Freeview is the digital terrestrial service, that is you get it from an aerial.
There are two satellite services to choose from, Sky which you susbcribe to, and Freesat which is free. Confusingly Sky also offer a free service called Freesat from Sky.
As far as I am aware only Sky have Asian channels, thus my comment about it being hobson's choice (the choice is Sky or nothing).

Hi,
Sky will put pulling more channels from freeview later this year, not sure if SkySportsNews will be one of them. So freeview might lost it too.0
