Can anyone tell me what the position is in the following senario.
I rceived my BT phone bill . My eldest daughter did 0800 reverse my six year old answered the home phone and said yes to the prompt so I have got a bill for £2.96 + VAT. I phoned to complain Is there anyway I can get out of the charge?0 -

Surely by allowing your six year old to answer and accept the call you must now pay for it. Don't understand why you think that you should "get out of the charge"

I think it's meant to be an ampersand or 'and sign' and the software is getting confused somewhere along the line.

By the way ann1179, 0800 reverse has nowt to do with BT.See their T&C
" 3.6 All enquiries, including those relating to pricing and billing, or customer complaints should be directed to the 0800 Reverse Customer Service Centre on 0845 077 9000. The opening hours for the 0800 Reverse Customer Service Centre are Monday to Friday 9.00am– 5.30pm excluding public holidays.
