hi! can i be serious for a min please(i dunno can i?) i have a question snags but dont answer if you dont want to, how does ryan cope with going off on holiday?, i know he doesnt do too well with school ending because the routine goes that he gets there(i know youve got one too but ykwim?!)
btw this isnt to do with you going off on hol its just someone else i know is off on hol and was wondering how you cope (or anyone else reading this for that matter, i know everyones diff but itd be nice to get at least one perspective)xxI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
Hiya Bubbles
He copes okay - we tell him exactly what will happen and when, we involve him in the packing and make sure he has plenty of familiar toys/clothes/bedding (bedding is REALLY important - he has all sorts of sensory issues, so different pillows/duvet/sheets could make him uncomfortable and anxious).
We keep the routine the same as at home, and try to stick to bedtimes etc. We cook the same things as at home, have the same cereals etc etc. We tell him in advance about the things we are going to do, and plan in as many things that he likes as possible (swimming, going to the playground etc).
Being in an unfamiliar place doesn't seem to bother him all that much - he seems to cope with bigh HUGE changes better than little tiny ones.
If I think of any other info that might help, I'll post it."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Thanks.
I was offered a share scheme through my work. Didn't see much point as I only work part time!

With mine, you save for 5 years, then can buy the shares at the price they were at the start of the 5 years, less a discount.
So if the shares stay the same or go up, you make a profit. But if they have gone down, you can just take the cash - you don't HAVE to buy the shares.
It's been hard going, saving for 5 years (I start a new one each year), but from now on, I will have one that matures every year until I either leave, or stop doing them.
I made £2k profit on my first one, but not so much last year because the shares bombed out just as it matured. It has really helped us towards getting debt free."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
