Oh dear, I sound like I'm annoyed at receiving £670 don't I - it's only because I'm pretty sure I will have to pay it all back. :o

Along with an accusation that you told them your wages would be dropping to zero and you'd be giving birth to 73 1/2 children over the space of the next 3 weeks.

    And it's all your fault.

Lol, I even said to her 'Can I just ask you to not send me any more money, until my new award has been calculated?', and she chuckled and said 'it's all worked out by computer so providing you keep us up to date with any changes, you shouldn't end up with an overpayment'!! :rotfl:

Bless 'em - you've got to admire their optimism! :)

Good luck with getting Ryan statemented, they are like rocking horse teeth where I live. I know getting through the paperwork is a nightmare, at least if you have school on board it is a big help.

Well done on the the loan coming down. Are you just paying a set amount each month or can you overpay without penalty? Sorry if you've explained this before!

Same here - apparently it's an extremely difficult process, but I think we've got to try really, because it will give us more choice when he goes to high school. We know a couple of people who have managed to get statements for their children with Aspergers, but they have had to get solicitors involved, which is a bit of a scary prospect.

Hiya Verbatim - because the loan is linked to my mortgage, the mortgage payment includes the interest on the loan too (plus interest and capital on my mortgage). I can pay as much or as little of the capital off as I like each month without any penalty, and if I get a bit overenthusiastic and pay too much off, I can draw some back out too.

Oh lol, I didn't tell you what I did yesterday - I was walking through the car park at work in my lovely new(ish) wedges, stepped on a loose stone, and my foot went out from under me. I went flying head first onto the tarmac, then sort of bounced along a bit on my knee, elbow and shoulder....OUCH!!!

I'm covered in bumps and bruises, and have very little skin left on my knees......I'm calling it 'extreme exfoliation'....lol.

The things we do for fashion.....damn wedges!! :rotfl:

Is that right Gemmzie? I thought you could, but you might end up slightly worse off by doing both depending on your circumstances? I suppose it would depend on whether the whole amount of the childcare was covered by the vouchers maybe?

I dont think that its you cant claim both but you will declare a lower gross wage (ie minus the £243 or whatever sacrifice you take) if that makes any sense.

I did thanks (for everyone that isn't Tig, I went to see the lovely Tigtag and the infamous MB (who was actually rather sweet) this morning :)).

I took a bit of a wrong turn...lol...but I hadn't realised that I actually knew the area reasonably well because I used to live just on the opposite side of the road to Matalan (although it was something else then....B&Q maybe?), so I found my way okay once I started to recognise things.

I really shouldn't be allowed out on my own! :rotfl:

(and you are very welcome :D)
